AP FACT CHECK: Trump’s claims in his State of Union address

You want to ignore the reality that a job lost that returns isn't a new job created. Of those 152 million employed when Obama left office 5.7 million of them were part time. There are 4.3 million part time today in Trump's 159 million employed. Seems facts always get in the way of your support for Obama but really the question to be asked is WHY?? LOL, tell that to the 56% of Americans benefiting from the Trump economy!! You like far too many people have no understanding as to the components of GDP as bottom line is all that matters to you, not CONTEXT

There are four components of GDP, Obama built his GDP on gov't spending, Trump on consumer spending which is benefited by the tax cuts. So I continue to say the left which you are part of has no credibility or understanding of our private sector economy. 2009 and 2010 Obama had gov't spending over 40% showing how easy it is to manipulate numbers especially with people like you buying what you are being told

you mean the Obama economy....it has been over the last 11 years that the economy has grown...not the just the last three and Trump hasn't been president for 11 years.

Apparently the people didn't see it your way, wonder why??? Do you know what an under employed person is?? Can you tell me when Obama generated over 900 billion in GDP Growth WITHOUT massive gov't spending?

Obama lost the House in 10-12-14-16 and the Senate in 14-16, wonder why since the economy was booming like you claim?

Looks to me like actual results in context have no place in that fantasy world of Obama in which you live. Going to be a long 5 more years for you with Trump in the WH

I don't care how people see it...I tend to believe in numbers more than feelings...evidently you work on emotion instead. The numbers show that for 11 years the economic situation has improved...

Yes, that is exactly the issue feelings over context. Makes you feel good to see low unemployment and it doesn't matter than millions of those employed are under employed, unable to find good jobs in that booming economy.

You also feel good with good economic numbers that again ignore context with numbers boosted by gov't spending, the more gov't spending the higher the GDP Growth will be. Dependence is created along with debt. We have a private sector economy not a public sector one and when you have Gov't spending over 40% of GDP you become a European country with economic malaise

The only one not admitting wrong is you. You are the only one arguing your nonsense. Obama started this economic situation not Trump and that eats you alive. Had he left things alone it would be much better...but he had to go and throw a wrench in by his stupid nonsensical trade war

Obama spent billions of federal tax dollars that boosted the GDP, in 8 years that GDP was 4.3 trillion dollars. In three years without billions spent on stimulus and bailouts of unions Trump has generated almost 3 trillion in GDP Growth. You cannot seem to grasp the difference in GDP growth by President
