You like yappy little sisters that can't wait to run to your mothers: "mommy, mommy, guess what Donald did?"

I see you two are determined to not understand the significance of this. You want to whine “wah wah its not a big deal”. If we lived in a vacuum you would be right that it’s not a big deal. But we live in the world where conservatives ran around screaming and ranting about everything (real and imagined) President Obama did. Think fist bump, tan suit and grey poupon (digger mentions saluting with a coffee cup). Your hypocrisy alone makes trump’s actions worthy of discussion. But trump has again shown himself to be a flamingly gutless hypocrite. He whipped up his ignorant base with the issue of disrespecting the national athem. You and yours obediently ranted about said issue (your conservative masters were very appreciative) So it’s a big deal by your own standards. Read that slowly: by your own standards. And that’s what makes you guys posting “wah wah its not a big deal” just more flamingly gutless hypocrisy from the right.

You should look at joko’s post for intelligent attempts to dishonestly deflect from trump’s flamingly gutless hypocrisy

It was a bad decision (or more likely not really thinking about it one way or the other.) But no big deal. The hypocrisy of what partisans rant about is on both side. These "but what if Obama did that?!" or "what if Trump did that?!" - for things both sides have done truly are worthless.
Oh joko, the way you effortlessly throw in the “libs call flag burners patriotic” to deflect is good. It’s the mark of an intelligent poster. Sadly, it only proves you attempts to deflect are dishonest. It was explained to you why trump's actions are a big deal. because you are smart, you know to avoid discussing trump's flamingly gutless hypocrisy. He whipped up his ignorant about issue of disrespecting the national athem. and jo, it would be a "both sides" if President Obama ranted like a child/trump about eating grey poupon and then got caught eating grey poupon. So its not a "both sides" narrative. Its a "look, trump and conservatives prove what flamingly gutless hypocrites they are...….again" narrative.

Calm down Vern. If you have a problem with hypocritical "conservatives" (whatever that means) take it up with them. I have not mentioned any other presidents in this thread, nor have I made any comments on any other presidential dietary choices or clothing styles. There has been no hypocrisy on my part, nor do you seem to have any inkling of my "standards."

The only thing that makes Trump's actions (in this particular instance) worthy of discussion is your own obsession with bashing people you perceive to have different political views than yours. The partisan line drawing and demonization of other Americans percieved as "diferent" than oneself is the real problem.

Trump's distracted fidgeting is objectively a non issue, and only designed to deflect from the other, real problems facing America. And obsessing over it only serves to exacerbate some of those problems. Anyone that would defend one president bowing to the leader of a country that sponsors worldwide terrorism but then attack Trump for being childishly distracted during a private sports event is the one who is displaying hypocrisy.

During the national anthem at his own Super Bowl party, a brief video posted to Instagram shows Trump greeting guests, adjusting his chair, and straightening his jacket as other attendees, including Melania Trump, stand with their hands over their hearts.

Now, imagine, just for a moment, the uproar, if Obama had done this.
I can't believe this idiot is our president.

Believe it and by the looks of it the degenerates that elected him may do it again.

    That's mathematically improbable.

But anything can happen, especially now that the russians have been given the green-light by the scumbag R Senate.

If the new standard is we don't much care what you do when the national anthem is played, fine by me.

But until Trump acted like a fidgety 4 year old, to not stand at attention was to DISRESPECT THE TROOPS who DIED FOR THIS COUNTRY and UNAMERICAN, and those who don't respect the flag should be FIRED and RUN OFF THE FIELD and LEAVE THE COUNTRY!

So what's the deal? Can we settle on a standard or is there one for black football players and another one in the dirt for POTUS, or what?

No one covers their heart for Hail to the chief, nor would I stand...any Christian knows why....I somehow doubt that's what is being played since people are with hands over their hearts

Rasmussen just released a poll indicating he has the highest approval rating of his presidency. Higher numbers than Obama at similar points in his presidency. Interesting times for sure.

Solemnly standing at attention with your hand over your heart is for the little people, not Kings.
