[W:207]Rush Limbaugh announces he has 'advanced lung cancer'

Thanks, but she made a general comment.... one example does not prove her point. I called on her to patient to see a few such posts before she indicted a entire group of people, which she did.

I’ve seen plenty of photos with him smoking a cigar.

I wouldn’t wise cancer on anyone, so Rush has my thoughts and prayers.

He said a lot of stupid and inflammatory things defending smokers and smoking..and as usual, poo-pooing the science. Words mean things.

Few people on this earth deserve a horrible death. I believe Rush is one.

Rush Limbaugh denied smoking health risks before lung cancer - New York Daily News

‘I would like a medal for smoking cigars’ - Rush Limbaugh

Rush on secondhand smoke:

“That is a myth. That has been disproven at the World Health Organization and the report was suppressed,” Limbaugh claimed. “There is no fatality whatsoever. There’s no even major sickness component associated with secondhand smoke. It may irritate you, and you may not like it, but it will not make you sick, and it will not kill you.”

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 2,500,000 nonsmokers have died from health problems caused by exposure to secondhand smoke since 1964.
Limbaugh went on to claim “firsthand smoke” isn’t that serious either.

“Firsthand smoke takes 50 years to kill people, if it does,” he said. “Not everybody that smokes gets cancer. Now, it’s true that everybody who smokes dies, but so does everyone who eats carrots.”

And now we are supposed to feel bad for this guy?

I don't wish a horrible death on anyone.

Even Rich Little. And I freaking hate Rich Little.

Rush is an icon in conservative politics
He is a low life piece of crap and only inspires the low intellect imbeciles who are way too stupid to even know what is conservatism. Having said that, nobody deserves cancer.

We need him now more than ever to help fight the radical left.
Stupidity like that is what creates the radical left.

Sorry I didn’t ask for a fictional short story, please explain the actual southern strategy.

...You start out in 1954 by saying, "N*****r, n*****r, n*****r". By 1968 you can't say "n*****r"—that hurts you. Backfires. So you say stuff like forced busing, states' rights and all that stuff. You're getting so abstract now [that] you're talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you're talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is [that] blacks get hurt worse than whites. And subconsciously maybe that is part of it. I'm not saying that. But I'm saying that if it is getting that abstract, and that coded, that we are doing away with the racial problem one way or the other. You follow me—because obviously sitting around saying, "We want to cut this", is much more abstract than even the busing thing, and a hell of a lot more abstract than "N****r, n****r". So, any way you look at it, race is coming on the backbone.[11][12][13]

Rush would say, many years ago, "my nicotine stained fingers"; however, for years he has said "my formerly nicotine stained fingers".

He's a talent the likes of Howard Stern. A shock jock of a generation. I hope he beats it and has some time to retire and enjoy the fruits of his incredible success.

My thoughts are that he is an insanely unhealthy person. He is probably lucky he lived this long

He smoked cigars and promoted an unhealthy diet to millions, while making millions. He could have hired a dietitian, or someone to tell him to quit smoking years ago, or someone to tell him cigars are bad.

Millions of Americans never have the sort of luxuries he did. Here is to hoping all that wealth he amassed while selling snake oil will allow him to live a long life.

Я Баба Яга [emoji328]

That what I thought. Also, I thought he was addicted to serious painkillers for awhile. He is not a healthy person. It’s sad he didn’t take care of himself.

Rush, the birther of science denial. That POS would mock anything someone with--you know--an actual education in the things being talked about said.

I have written a lot about this one, and I know exactly what your point is it’s the same 60 seconds out of context that every liberal ideologue takes out of context Lee is not saying what you are claiming he is saying

Right, he's not saying what he is saying.

Democrats being happy that Limbaugh has cancer is SICKENING, of course what the he** do I expect from people who have no class?

You seem to be of the opinion that it is true if you agree with the idea and it is wrong if you disapprove. The idea that you cannot separate your own opinions from facts is not my problem.

My father's first trip to Ireland in the early 1960's was witness to what he thought was the funniest bar fight he'd ever seen or heard of.
When a small gaggle of friendly types discovered he was American, they of course asked all kinds of questions.
"Have you been to California? I hear it's a near paradise, sunny every day, fruit you can pick off the trees in your own yard" etc.
Along the way, oranges were mentioned.
A rather big lout by the name of Ian refused to believe the tales of California's oranges.

"Oranges grow in SPAIN", grumbled Ian.

Of course, they DO grow in Spain but Ian refused to believe they grew anywhere else, not California, not Florida.
And the more he heard about oranges in California, the angrier he got.

"Oranges grow in SPAIN! One more word about oranges and I'll lay the lot of you out."

And sure enough, in under a minute Ian was trying to fight the entire bar.
Oranges grow in Spain, California, and Florida and elsewhere but Ian was now incensed that anyone would dare question his wisdom on the subject.

I was sorry to hear about Limbaugh's diagnosis.

Cigars are not a serious lung cancer risk.

People also do get lung cancer who never smoked, Andy Hill the Republican state senator from here in Washington died several years ago from a shock lung cancer diagnosis.

Of course I don’t know what volume of cigars Rush smoked, if you have even one a day or a couple a week it’s not a serious risk. If you’re like Ulysses S Grant and puffing a box a day then all bets are off.

Assuming it is lung cancer since that is what he said. Sometimes people get other cancers in their lungs. Anyway, hopefully they caught it before he is stage 4. Otherwise he is toast.

Don't wish cancer on anyone even if I don't really like Rush. I'm sure plenty in this thread though have been celebrating.

He's a talent the likes of Howard Stern. A shock jock of a generation. I hope he beats it and has some time to retire and enjoy the fruits of his incredible success.

He says he will be on air as much as possible. As many who retire, they die when they do. He's 69, wealthy and had no plans to retire. He loves what he does.

For all the vile garbage this man has said, it is fitting he would get this disease. Spit out trash, inhale trash. I pity his family. For him?

No forgiveness here remains.

Typical leftist liberal with no morals or ethics. I pity you and your family. The vile statement about another human being who you don't agree with has a dreaded disease is sick! But, I have forgiveness for you because my faith requires me to forgive all.

Given the hate and disinformation that he put out there. The fact that he is partially responsible for the toxic nature of today's politics. All the fake news he threw out there. All the fearmongering he promoted. All the hate.

I do not fear sorry for him. I do not pity him. He has brought this onto himself, to be honest. I have never wished death upon him, but I am not going to pray for his recovery. If he dies of cancer, however, I do hope it is quick and with little or no pain.

Because, I have a feeling that he will be suffering Hell for eternity for sowing discord on God's creations for his own profit.

I know one person who will be dancing for joy: Sean Hannity. He'll finally be number 1 in talk radio. Finally!

I can't stand listening to Hannity. His nasal voice is annoying. He repeats himself endlessly, recapping everything he's said for the last 3 months on any topic. Then again, I can't stand to listen to any of the shock jocks on radio or any of the millionaire talking head actors of the richest corporations on earth on the MSM they super rich totally own and control.
