I'm not sure what will rank higher in public perception, here: The Dems bringing Parnas? Or, the reminder that Parnas is only relevant due to Trump's deeds with him? We shall see ....

I'm not going to try to change your feelings but I could substitute the Democrats for the Presidency in your statement, and say NO, it was the Democrats who decided to make a mess of this. I am not a part of this **** SHOW.

The Democrats, who the anti-Trumps deeply revere, could have waited to let the people decide at the polls in ten months instead of conducting this sham of an impeachment based on the fact that THEY are afraid of being defeated in November again. The disgrace, and all culpability remains with the Democrats only. I am not a part of their SHAM.

The President does not have the authority to abuse the Office of the President. And if a President does this the Framers of the Constitution outlined a process whereby a President can be removed.

If you do not like the idea of Congress being able to remove the President from power then blame the Framers of the Constitution.

Case closed.

This was reminiscent to me of the debate between Trump and Hillary when Donald Trump’s campaign sought to intimidate Hillary Clinton by inviting women who had accused Bill Clinton of sexual abuse to sit in the family area close to the center of the presidential debate.

If people didn't understand what a dirty, low-down piece of **** Trump was at that moment, they never would. And that was the same debate that he hovered threateningly behind her as she spoke.

Intimidation tactics.

But remember this: Trump only stopped when he got caught. Without impeachment, there's no way to stop him. The Dems got no co-operation from the GOP.

They are far from being altruistic, acting for the good of the country!... This is a political witch hunt that has hurt our country. Trump is not responsible for the actions of these monsters you appear to uphold as choir boys and girls.

It's kind of funny you're running Parnas down when before he was indicted was a trusted insider, worked for Rudy, reportedly paid Rudy $500k at least, dined with POTUS. Yes, it's shameful a two bit con man like that was given the keys to run part of the country, equivalent to a high level state department official, but you should be taking your complaints to those who trusted him with access and authority to speak for the U.S., not those who now just want to hear his story.

Everyone should be afraid of what Trump will do with the newfound royal powers the GOP Senators are about to grant him. There is literally nothing he cannot do to meddle in the next election or anything else he wants to corrupt.

The Dems sponsored him to be there. You can't just walk-in and get a seat. The question comes as to whether it looks good for the Dems to associate themselves with an unsavory criminal like Parnas. It's bad enough Trump has done this.

It's not like he has people on staff who can do, you know, background checks on people before he trusts them with important work on behalf of the country!

I don't need to remember anything. Trump can set his own foreign policy, but go ahead and pretend that he hasn't this privilege.

Schiff did not prove that the president acted with a corrupt motive unless you want to believe setting foreign policy and making sure foreign governments we are supporting with lethal aid are all governments who are free from corruption.

Trump campaigned on exactly the thing you condemn him for doing. We should not be the only country contributing aid and because we are we should have the assurance that those we are supporting are acting in OUR country's best interests. Not sinister for any president to ask governments to do what Trump asked in his July 25th phone call. Trump asked Zelensky to assure him that the corruption would be fixed for our COUNTRY, not himself. Zelensky felt no pressure, they didn't even know aid was being held up until the Politico article, and the aid was released before the end of the fiscal year; Sept. 2019.

As often, we don't agree. I'm not going to beat on it. Trump can excercise his powers, as long as he does not abuse them. That is the issue here, and the obvious point of disagreement - not just disagreement between you & I, but between many other Americans.
