Giuliani associate names Trump, Pence, more in Ukraine plan

WASHINGTON (AP) — A close associate of President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani is claiming Trump was directly involved in the effort to pressure Ukraine to investigate Democratic rival Joe Biden.

Lev Parnas says he delivered an ultimatum in May, at Giuliani’s behest, to the incoming president of Ukraine that no senior U.S. officials would attend his inauguration and vital American security aid would be withheld if an investigation into Biden wasn’t announced.

He further stated that Trump was aware of this program & that he was briefed regularly.

It's a shame that the Repub senate is going to let this crook off.
 
Yeah, but you don't have direct irrefutable proof, so there can be no additional witnesses called!

Michael Cohen had clear proof that Trump paid off Stormy for campaign purposes too.

It never ceases to amaze me how much criminal evidence some people have against others when their own ass is looking at a vacation in the local hoosegow.

Above, Adam Schiff. He's the guy that literally made up his own narrative about Trump's conversation with Zelensky and presented that false narrative as evidence of a crime. He should recuse himself from being an impeachment manager but he won't.

You guys are the ones that kept on saying impeachment wasn't about the rule of law, it's all about politics. Well, that's the way things go and Democrats are the ones that sent it that direction.

Schiffs "made up" narrative keeps getting more attention than the real witnesses who testified under oath that what Schiff "made up" was actually the truth. Trump used taxpayer money to bribe a foreign leader into helping him smear Biden and gain reelection. And there is so much more. Trumps hired thugs tailed a U.S Ambassador who's dismissal was demanded as payment for announcing an investigation into Biden and all of this was kept secret because "fighting corruption" is so illegal no one could know about it.

Yawn. Those witnesses were subpoenaed and all of them that answered it were allowed to testify including 2 that were listening to Trump's call with Zelensky. Trump was unable to supply even one witness that contradicted the notion that Ukraine was being pressured to announce an investigation into Biden and the recently released letter confirmed that Guilliani was working in Ukraine under the Presidents expressed approval and for his own personal interests.

Fact witnesses all verified the fear of the whistle-blower, that Trump was involved in an illegal shakedown of the Ukraine government. "A drug deal" as John Bolton characterized it.

Trump and Mulvaney persisted even though informed at the time that withholding the Ukraine funding was illegal which was verified by the GAO. Abuse of Office.

Trump also refused to allow important material witnesses to testify (McGahn et. al.) and allow pertinent documents to be examined. Obstruction of Congress.

Why would it surprise you? If you could be looking at a possible lengthy sentence, and they had your backside nailed to the proverbial post, would you deal for a lesser sentence? Or not?

Guess I did. That was wrong, but it does not make the witnesses who testified wrong. Look, we could go on and on, but the bottom line is what happens in the trial. I am hoping that Trump is not re-elected and you want that so we will see who Wins. You have a nice day and stay calm.

Crazy times. The retired American ambassador to Russia was asked how Russia would likely go about helping Trump during the impeachment. He said Whataboutism. Which is exactly what you're doing.
