in fact tue founding fathers warned about this type of partisanship hackery that is being done now.

that this process was never supposed to remove a president because the other party lost an election.

So now eating the wrong cheeseburger is an impeachable offense just because we the people say it is? That's why our founders set the bar at a 2/3's vote so partisan nonsense like this wouldn't happen. Democrats don't care. They impeached anyway and set a new precedent at the same time. No future president is safe now if the opposing party occupies the House.

Nope, I want ALL relevant testimony.

One of the counts of impeachment is specifically for trump not allowing witnesses to testify.

Hint he does not have that power. The house oversees the executive, and the president is not above the law.

Why don't you want all the facts???

To the bolded:

Exactly, ludin. You've got it! And I'm not saying this facetiously. Not at all. That's the key point.

But what's you've got to remember is the People express their will through the House. That's why it's referred to as "the People's House". That's why the first words in the Constitution are "We the People". And the very first Constitutional article is Article One, establishing Congress leading off with the House, and everything follows from there. The key to it all, being the "People".

The Presidency doesn't come into prominence until Article Two, because he works for us - not the other way around.
