Iran 'places $80million bounty for Donald Trump’s head’ as World War 3 tensions rise

Iran has placed a huge bounty on the American President’s head following the death of General Qassem Soleimani, according to reports. The Iranian General was killed last week after a US drone strike on his convoy at Baghdad airport. A video posted on social media shows huge crowds marching in protest following Soleimani’s death, before a male voice can be heard placing a bounty on the US President’s head.

Thought to be a funeral organiser, he says: “On behalf of all of Iran's people - 80 million Iranians - and each puts aside US$1, it would equal $80million.

"And we would give this $80million, on our own behalf, as a gift to anyone who brings the head of the person who ordered the murder of the grand figure of our revolution.

"Anyone who brings us the head of this yellow-haired lunatic, we would give him $80million on behalf of the great Iranian nation. Chant if you agree."

Well, if the comparison we are going with is that Donald Trump and his administration are acting like the high school bully, Iran is acting like the creepy antisocial incel loner who is planning a school shooting.

Well I can't access the site because it requires I accept a bunch of cookies and other tracking usage requirements, and I refuse to allow any voluntary invasion of my privacy simply to access a source of possible information.

So unless you have a public news site with the same info I'll have to respond based solely on your citation.

On that basis, the thread title is misleading.

Your post indicates a "suggestion" that if every citizen of Iran was willing to pledge at least $1.00, a bounty of $80 million could be offered for Trump's head. "Chant" if they agree with the idea.

Sounds more like an opinion couched as a suggestion for government action as opposed to a factual bounty being offered by the government of Iran.

Of course if you could provide a more detailed citation, then maybe I could comment based on more information.

That bounty was not part of the iranian govt other than a single member of iranian govt and the media. The iranian govt itself has states however their retaliation will be through military force, and that was said earlier today by the direct adviser to the supreme leader there.

No, no, no - he only plays on courses that he owns. American taxpayers are paying for the security, for feeding the security teams and housing when Trump stays overnight. Then there are the pre-visit costs as the Secret Service ensures that all is well before he arrives.
