Time's person of the year is officially a joke...lol
Sounds like a whole lot of people believe a teenager can't think for themself and should never take a stance on something they passionately believe in.
That's cute, you used my post to bash Fox. I'm sorry I might have indicated to you that I care. I'll try to do better.
"The Big Book of Famous Hamsters" never failed a fact check either. That doesn't make it worth reading.
:coffeepap
Trump supports the Constitution.....except the "phony" emoluments clause
So you believe that Science is just flat out wrong?
Yep, and a so called 'libertarian' should really be upset at our massive debt. But they aren't because right now the massive debt is being called by Republicans.
I have yet to find a true libertarian on this site. They called themselves libertarians, but on the inside they are nothing but far right Republicans.
This may be a generational thing. If you are older than say 50, then you remember when Time's MOTY was a big deal and was taken seriously. That was before they started pulling gimmicks like choosing the PC one year, or naming "you" (with a mirrored cover) which was just plain stoopid. Now it's just an exercise in silliness.
Maybe the trolls were right and I did take this too seriously.
In other increasingly non-serious awards news, when Greta gets the Nobel Peace prize next year I'll try to remember to not take that too seriously too.
Just because a libertarian doesn't need your lofty ideals??? I haven't met a libertarian that isn't pissed off about out rising debt. Why do you think otherwise? Is that arrogance, ignorance, or both that make you say that? If not either, is it bigotry? Why do you make such unsupported claims?
What I don't understand is how can someone call themselves a liberal, yet appeal to authority so much? How can they want more authority? Why do most I meet and talk to in forums believe they have the right to alter society in their utopian ideals?
You're just upset that it's not Trump. You think he should be Man of the Year every year. Even the ones before he was born.
Being Time's person of the year isn't necessarily a compliment, ya know...lol
Libertarians are just right wingers who like to use dope for the most part. Almost all of them are to the right of even conservative Republicans. And only half as rational.
Not really. There are two different kinds of libertarians . Some think it's all about paying taxes, which is frankly absurd. Some pay their taxes quietly, but want the government to stay out of their pants.
Oh for crissakes. Greta is the person who "most influenced the news and the world" in 2019? Srsly? On what planet has Greta influenced anything?
You would think a news magazine would care more about, oh I don't know, the NEWS, than about making some lame feel-good statement about how they wish the world was.
Because I solidly believe that in 20 or so years, AGW will be seen as the dog and pony show that it is. Everyone involved in the movement will be shamed.

Is pollution and damage to the planet going to just disappear by then?
No, but activists will have been exposed as having greatly exaggerated its impact.
And if the opposite is true?
No, but activists will have been exposed as having greatly exaggerated its impact.
It isn’t.
How so when it is apparent by the evidence that it is not an exaggeration?
