SNAP participation is also a function of the general economy. So, why is Trump cutting SNAP?
Average wages are rising because states raised the minimum wage in January, which Trump had nothing to do with.

"The faster growth at the bottom is probably being fueled in part by recent minimum-wage increases in cities and states across the country."

Meanwhile, Trump is giving $16 billion a year away to farmers hurt by his tariffs.

Lowest unemployment in 50 years. Wage rates up 3.1% and rising with a bullet. Trump programs work and are working for ALL AMERICANS.

The U.S. economy blew away expectations, adding 266,000 jobs in November, boosted by resolution of the General Motors (GM) strike. The jobs report showed private-sector payrolls grew by 254,000 workers, including roughly 46,000 returning GM employees. Average hourly wage growth came in at 3.1%, also better than expected. The jobless rate matched a 50-year-low 3.5%. After the robust November jobs report, Dow Jones industrial average and broader stock market futures pointed to a strong open, helped by positive China trade news.

    Least we're being honest here

Now, is the real number closer to 200,000 than 266,000?

    Also, 1/4 Government jobs?

Even if Obama had the bus on the right road, Trump is doing AT LEAST as well as the Big 0.

That argument from the Liberally retarded thinkers is REALLY getting tired!

Additionally, Trump is taking on China (and everyone else) in addressing the trade abuses they've been executing for decades.

"Do the right thing" seems to be the basic tenet of his administration. "Doing the right thing" is such a foreign concept to the Democrat-Socialists, they think it's an impeachable offense.

    That explains just about everything...

Agriculture is also taking a severe hit, as is shipping. This is after the economic miracles promised from GOP tax-cuts and tariffs, that put around a fifth of the economy effectively in recession.

Exactly! Look at the chart that I just posted. The economic miracle Trump promised isn't happening.
Not only is jobs growth slow but GDP, which Republicans criticized Obama for being "only about 2% annual," is about 2% annual. In fact, forecasts were for lower growth but this jobs number boosted it all the way up to 2%.

    GDPNow -
    Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta

The GDPNow model estimate for real GDP growth (seasonally adjusted annual rate) in the fourth quarter of 2019 is 2.0 percent on December 6, up from 1.5 percent on December 5. After this morning's release of the employment report by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and this morning's wholesale trade report from the U.S. Census Bureau, the nowcasts of fourth-quarter real personal consumption expenditures growth and fourth-quarter real gross private domestic investment growth decreased from 2.0 percent and -2.8 percent, respectively, to 2.3 percent and -0.8 percent, respectively, and the nowcast of the contribution of net exports to fourth-quarter real GDP growth decreased from 0.40 percentage points to 0.35 percentage points.

I don't know. Irrational hatred based on radical partisanship is hard to explain.

Right now, citizens of the United States are living in the best conditions that have ever existed for human beings in the history of this planet.

    What's your complaint?

The consistently strong job market actually hurts trump. You get two guesses why.

I think what's being shown is the opposite -- the same people who had irrational hatred towards Obama, and criticized solid economic gains, are jumping for joy with the same numbers because they're Trump's.
