see in the US we required evidence to convict someone of a crime we do this for a reason.

Then it should be a bipartisan vote like Nancy said and like the Nixon impeachment inquiry. You can't just invent charges and get a bipaetisan vote no matter how much you dislike Trump.

Exactly and the Republican reason for not proceeding is that the Senate is so corrupt that the jury is fixed and their is no reason to continue as the verdict is predetermined...

I'm unclear on his "paucity of evidence" statement. He knows that the reason there is less evidence than there could be because the subject of the impeachment has stopped that evidence from being forwarded to Congress.

They don't need proof. Impeachment is a political trial, not a criminal trial. If they wanted to impeach the President because he looks so ugly it should be a "high crime and misdemeanor," they can. All it requires is a simple majority vote in the House and the President is impeached. The Senate, of course, will not convict. However, if the Democrats think that will be the end of it they are very much mistaken. The American people will retaliate against the Democrat coup attempts, far more than just reelecting Trump in 2020. This will severely impact the congressional Democrats as well. I would not be surprised to see the Democrats lose the House and additional seats in the Senate in 2020.

McConnell won't call Schiff or Pelosi. Do you think he wants Senators to be called in front of House committees? Stop with the House isn't doing anything. The bills are on the Senate Majority leaders desk, he is choosing not to bring them to the floor. A single Republican has twice (two different Senators) stopped a unanimous consent that would have passed an election security bill.
