Trump loses appeal to block banks from handing his financial records to Congress

A federal appeals court ruled Tuesday that Deutsche Bank and Capital One can hand over years of President Donald Trump’s financial records in compliance with House Democrats’ subpoenas.

The ruling offers another loss in the courts for Trump, who has fought attempts to obtain his financial records through multiple lawsuits.

The case is likely destined for the Supreme Court, where the president has already appealed two other lower court decisions requiring the disclosure of his financial records.

Trump has no rights screw his ass everybody hates him. That sums up what it's going to come down to in the Supreme Court. We are now an official third world country.

If there was nothing criminal or embarrassing in his financials he would have released them long ago. trump has invested so much in keeping them hidden. So sad!

My financial records are protected by privacy laws.

Why aren't Trump's financial records protected by privacy laws?

Your financial records are protected by privacy laws until a prosecutor, an investigator, or a Congressional committee gains access to them using a subpoena during the course of an investigation.

You should actually read some of these rulings instead of just accepting what Hannity tells you.

You are a prosecutor's DREAM defendant......just saying.

Morning Lurch how have you been. So if Bloomberg had nothing to hide he would let Bloomberg news investigate him right?

You mean a fishing trip.

TDS is a very bad disease

Bloomberg, and Trump, and Steyer, can go **** themselves. I am sick and tired of the bourgeois, the elitist billionaires, thinking they should run this country.

Let's get a real working man in office.

**** these billionaire clowns.

Prosecutors can't make stuff up that never happened...just saying.

They can, but they aren't supposed to, but that isn't even close to what I was saying,

I have nothing to hide, so here, let's talk, i have nothing to hide, here's my records etc,

You realize a prosectur's SOLE goal, is to convict, once they decide to press charges, they don't really care if you are guilty or not.....

You'd have to include all the politicians who have been in office for more than 5 years as well.....or is it just billionaires we are pissed at?

Your financial records are NOT protected from Congressional subpoena in an investigation.

That has been the case since the 1920’s.

I sure as **** don't want a billionaire in office. Their pretentious "I created an empire (usually with daddy's help) so I know how to run the country better than anyone else!" is simply a cover for corruption and self serving policy positions that enrich them, or enshrine their earnings forever for their spawn.

I have no more stomach for them, any of them. If Bloomberg gave a **** about people, or Trump, why aren't they combining their billions to pay off some student loan debt? Or, pay down some of our budget? Pay off school lunch debt? Pay for updated books for kids in southern schools, learning off 40 year old text books?

They alone can lead us - by cutting spending so they can hoard their wealth.

Anyone who ignores this stuff is doing so willingly. The social issues don't matter.

Agreed, but you can also make the case that career politicians are ignoring issues just so they can be re-elected

You mean a fishing trip.

Yeah, the fishing trip into the slush fund (sorry, Trump Foundation).

You know. The charity that paid Trump’s personal legal bills and paid for a vanity portrait.

And no, it’s not Trump’s money, even though he thinks it is.

It’s money raised at a small number of Trump functions and paid by other people, but put in Trump’s pocket.

And, of course, there’s the other slush fund (the Inaugural Committee), where Gordon Sondland bought his ambassadorship.

Of course they do. We all knew that already. Doesn't mean we cannot discuss the audacity of a bunch of hand down billionaires thinking they can solve every problem, and cover for their own self serving policy positions by clinging to social issues to cover their greed.

Fair enough, like I said, I wasn't sure if you were venting against billionaires, or the system, seems to be both.....

You know what? F that. Follow the law, don't break the rules. It's not that complicated. The President has the duty to comply with these investigations, as does every citizen.

Of course it's both. But the Billionaire Presidential Candidates get the news; we need to get rid of them. IMHO it is a disqualifier if you're a billionaire. You should not be allowed to be president.

A LIBERTARIAN hating on capitalism? Should they give their money away? Should they stop making any more money? When is it that someone has too much? One million? 10 million? 100 million?

For realz bro. Everyone knows the 3rd world is known for their robust judicial system bolstered by a generous appeals process that ends with litigation in the highest court of the land. Total 3rd world **** show.
