Harris aide, in resignation letter, says ‘I have never seen an organization treat its staff so poorl

Re: Harris aide, in resignation letter, says ‘I have never seen an organization treat its staff so

Still don't understand how you were off? :lamo

Seen one bayou................

Re: Harris aide, in resignation letter, says ‘I have never seen an organization treat its staff so

while i hate to confess it, i don't understand what you mean

A suicide bunt is a baseball tactic. The batter deliberately sets himself up to be taken out with a short hit, with the idea being that a man on 3rd base will have time to get to home plate.

In other words, Harris has been taking flack from Sanders to allow Warren to continue without having to get tangled up with Sanders.

Re: Harris aide, in resignation letter, says ‘I have never seen an organization treat its staff so

Wrong.

I asked 2 questions in the OP that were supposed to help your brain make good decisions when you started responding.

You may be confused about what thread you're posting in.

Would you like me to link you to your OP?

The one that I - and others here - have demolished as ludicrous nonsense?

Your denial of your paper-thin premise having been obliterated would be intriguing if it weren't so boring.

Re: Harris aide, in resignation letter, says ‘I have never seen an organization treat its staff so

OK. That doesn't change the answer.

You said that Trump is criticized for being aggressive and overly assertive not just as a partisan complaint but by the public generally.

Show me a Republican who criticizes Trump for being aggressive and overly assertive.

Re: Harris aide, in resignation letter, says ‘I have never seen an organization treat its staff so

Trump. It was a fair criticism, too.

Anybody else you have in mind who was male, aggressive, and overly assertive and didn't get criticized?

And when did "presidential candidate" become the central criterion for your sexism hypothesis? We were talking about men and women in general.

Trump has never been criticized by a Republican for being aggressive and overly assertive.

This thread has always been about women in employment, including employment in politics. Harris is a presidential candidate and is just a vehicle with whom to explore the larger issue.

Re: Harris aide, in resignation letter, says ‘I have never seen an organization treat its staff so

Just saw this. You keep moving the goal posts. Most people (can that be "the public generally" don't approve of Trump's personality. Rightly so, in my view.

There aren't any goal posts. If you haven't, I suggest you read the entire thread so you can comment intelligently.

Yes. Please do link to my OP. While you're there, have a grownup read it to you.

"To whatever extent Harris actually is a "bitch", why do we have to perceive her that way? In order to be successful brokers of power, why do some women feel the need to act like "bitches"?"

The rest of your post doesn't make any sense.

I'm not going to hunt down quotes for you on Trump or Harris. You asked a question and I answered. Trump has frequently received (valid) criticism for being aggressive and abrasive.

You didn't need to hunt down any quotes. All you had to do was read the post you were replying to, which for some reason beyond my comprehension, is apparently too much to ask for some DP members.

I said name a man who has been criticized by the general public for being aggressive and overly assertive. Not just a partisan complaint. You said Trump. That answer is wrong because Trump is not criticized by the general public for those things. To the extent that he is criticized for those things, it's mostly by political opponents.

Bernie Sanders, Newt Gingrich, Ted Cruz

lol - I read your question, and answered it. I can't help that you are adding vague qualifiers.

Bernie Sanders, Newt Gingrich, Ted Cruz

Those are good answers. I do make a distinction between them though. I think Sanders is viewed as aggresive and overly assertive in terms of his policy proposals rather than his personal style. I agree that Gingrich and Cruz get broadly criticized for some of the same things that many women (including Harris) get criticized for.

I have seen Bernie caricatured as a grumpy old man.

I don't know how you're not understanding this. Your answer was not an answer to my question. Trump is not a man who is criticized generally by the public for being aggressive. I haven't added any "vague qualifiers". For the 3rd time, read the post you responded to.

Re: Harris aide, in resignation letter, says ‘I have never seen an organization treat its staff so

I have seen Bernie caricatured as a grumpy old man.

He strikes me as more curmudgeonly than overly assertive, but I see your point.

Re: Harris aide, in resignation letter, says ‘I have never seen an organization treat its staff so

What do those 3 people have in common that causes you to classify them all as "bitches"?

They all have vaginas.

Your OP:

Harris aide, in resignation letter, says ‘I have never seen an organization treat its staff so poorl

Your ridiculous premise = Obliterated

Harris = Horrible human being

Horrible human beings = Sometimes called names like "bitch" when female

Why do some people feel the need to be horrible human beings?

Don't ask me.

Ask a horrible human being like Harris, Klobuchar, Hillary, Bill, Bush II, Pelosi, Nadler or Schiff.

Again:

Your ridiculous premise demanding special privilege for horrible people when female = Obliterated

Re: Harris aide, in resignation letter, says ‘I have never seen an organization treat its staff so

Obama was elected because he's black? And Hillary Clinton was second place because she's female? Is that what you're suggesting?

You ask a lot of questions. Just reread the post a time or two and you'll figure it out.

Re: Harris aide, in resignation letter, says ‘I have never seen an organization treat its staff so

I see. Anything else to add to the list or just vaginas?

Trump wasn't criticized for being aggressive and overly assertive in grabbing certain things???

She will sit for a bit at the bottom of the polls but once Biden starts slipping she will start to receive more moderates attention as well as more African American attention and will rise by super Tuesday. I've always said she would win the nomination, she is a crazy lefty like a big portion of Democrats want but doesn't come off Like Warren and Sanders do.

Harris = 0 chance for the nomination

You think my premise is that horrible females deserve special privileges? You got that reading from reading my OP?

Re: Harris aide, in resignation letter, says ‘I have never seen an organization treat its staff so

Harris = 0 chance for the nomination

I think Bloomberg's late entry only helps Harris to. He is there to spoil Sanders and Warren when Biden takes a dump, but eventually his support will to go to Harris.
