Whistleblower lawyer lashes out at Jordan: 'I AM TIRED OF YOU LYING IN A HOUSE COMMITTEE ROOM' | TheHill

An attorney representing a whistleblower in the intelligence community who filed an inspector general complaint at the center of the impeachment proceedings lashed out at Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) on Tuesday, accusing the congressman of lying and spreading conspiracy theories.

Andrew Bakaj tweeted Tuesday that Jordan had lied about who the unnamed whistleblower had contacted before filing a report with the intelligence community's inspector general.
==========================================================
Bakaj's claim that disputes Jordan's statements to the contrary: that the whistleblower had contacted no one except this lawyer prior to going to the intelligence community's inspector general (ICICG). Jordan has just been spinning a web of lies.

I'd like to know a lot more about Jordan's involvement with sexual misconduct with student wrestlers while an assistant coach at OSU. That would be much more interesting.

We know for a fact that Ciaramella talked to someone in the White House before he filed his complaint. He says he did so IN the complaint.

And, given the testimony today, we know that Vindman is the one he talked to.

That (bolded above) is contradicted by the WB's own written complaint. Obviously, the WB must have had contact with others prior to talking with his lawyer since that is the (entire?) basis for his complaint.

We don't exactly know that (bolded above), yet if Schiff does not know the WB's identity (which is extremely doubtful) then how did Schiff assume that Vindman would name him/her and thus see need to prevent Vindman from answering that question?

That part's simple. He knew, did not care, and went with the typical "evil liberals are conspiring to victimize me" conspiracy theory defense.

I've been rethinking this. It seemed to me at first that Vindman's contact was probably the whistleblower. But now that I think about it, maybe not. Maybe there is more than one White House official who contacted someone in the intelligence community, and they are masking all of them in order to not make it totally obvious who the whistleblower is. We'll have to see the rest of the testimony before we know.

Vindman was asked about one of the people he talked to. The fact that Vindman, supported by his lawyer, used Schiffty's rule about not identifying Ciaramella to NOT answer the question...which, btw, wasn't the identity of the whistleblower...confirms that Vindman DID, in fact, talk to the whistleblower.

If Vindman had talked to anybody else, he would not have been able to refuse to answer the question because he would not be running afoul of Schiffty's ruling.

So yes...given the testimony today, we know that Vindman is the one Ciaramella talked to.

There’s no real evidence that Schiff knows who it is but he can deduce that Vindman probably does because of two things. First, the whistleblower says in the complaint, “Multiple White House officials with direct knowledge of the call informed me...” One of those officials is probably Vindman given what we know about who was on that call. Second, Vindman declined to name the second person he provided the call readout to.

I concluded it was Vindman a week or so ago. vindman seems to have a self exalted view of his importance. He also seems to have stepped out of the chain of comma and And was conducting his own foreign policy without OK from his superiors.

Oh does he ever... His own words prove it.
Let's face it, he, like the other haters in the federal government didn't like Trump snooping into Ukraine corruption.
Now why do you suppose that was?

I thought Vindman might be the WB.

I wouldn't put this past Schiff to play this squirrely.

He said under oath that he didn’t know who the WB was. I think that is not true. Schiff also said he did not know who the WB is. That is a lie also. This whole thing is such a joke.

twump has never once 'snooped' into any corruption, anywhere, of any nature unless he could see an angle to profit personally from it.

He relies on suckers. Don't let him down.

They don't call him 'Gym Jordan' for nothing. Looking the other way is his MO.

he's a sniveling little Tweety ass sniffer.

The WB talked to half a dozen people in the WH. It was their collective information that inspired the WB to file the complaint. That Vindman was one of those six people validates the WB complaint.

OK, but on what basis did the WB have to be given classified information from Vindman about a call that he was not a party to? In other words, who authorized Vindman to give the WB such classified information?

And what does that have to do with Vindman’s testimony?

What does Vindman have to do with the topic of the thread?
