Maybe YOU aren't thinking of him. There are plenty in the Trumpcult who think Vindland is part of the Deep State seeking to remove Dear Leader from office. There have already been acts of violence by Trump Supporters against his 'enemies.' Don't pretend it doesn't happen.

The people who Vindman leaked to weren't cleared and even if they had the clearance level, they didn't a need to know. That's why the whole whistleblower thing is so secret.

Believe it, or not, classified material can't be shared with someone just because that person has a security clearance.

He is both right and wrong. He is wrong in that the code he references deals strictly with documents. He is right in that access to classified information has two requirements, clearance level, and need to know. So if Vindman discussed classified information with someone who had the clearance, but did not have a need to know, then that would be a violation.

Note that this says nothing about the accuracy of what Vindman said, and republican arguments go way out of their way to avoid discussing the actual issue of what President Trump did, but hos diversion is not entirely inaccurate, though still a diversion from substance.

Sorta, but not in the way you mean it. The documents and materials have classified information on it, but without being on a document or material, the law you quote does not apply. Further, discussing the content of the documents and materials is not covered by the law. You picked the wrong law to cite dude.
