Left turns on Obama for challenging calls to ‘tear down the system’

It's so cute that some are trying to make "extreme left " happen   it's HILARIOUS.

Oh, the lack of perspective.

You started a thread about the differences of opinions in the Democratic Party and now here you are on page 2 contradicting yourself, saying they require agreement.
Weathervane, that's what that kind of flip-flop makes you. Consistent thinking takes second place to finding an opening for a partisan dig.
That's the reason they don't like Obama's different opinion.:doh

Why are you answering my question by using a red herring deflection?

This isn't Fox "News." Your projection is not something to be proud of. ;)

When you can't defend Trump, just point fingers at Obama or Hillary. Classic Trump supporter move.

Changing the topic is a classic liberal maneuver? Obama said "____________", liberals responded. That is what is to be discussed.

Obama wouldn't be the nominee today. That's how far Left the Democrat party is. Imagine Obama's positions on the border, his cages and his deterrence. He'd be attacked as a racist who hate "brown people".
So true.

That's what I saw. Extreme Left twitter reacted quite harshly.

Yep.

'Too Far Left' hashtag trends on Twitter

The hashtag "TooFarLeft" trended on Twitter on Saturday morning, in part because of comments made Friday by former President Obama.

Obama spoke at a fundraising meeting Friday evening and warned donors of the danger of the 2020 Democratic primary field moving too far to the left.

"Even as we push the envelope and we are bold in our vision, we also have to be rooted in reality," Obama said. "The average American doesn't think we have to completely tear down the system and remake it."

The former president's message didn't sit well with left-leaning Democrats.

And the article is about those with differing opinions turning against the single most successful politician on the Left in decades. I'm not huge fan of Obama but even I recognize he very successful at unifying the Democrat party. When Obama says the party should slow down their march to the Left. The Left should probably listen to him.;)

Hey, well, it's their proverbial funeral if they don't.
He's right about this.

That's the reason they don't like Obama's different opinion.:doh

And Obama doesn't like the opinions of the far left. That's the point you're making here, isn't it?
Tell me, what's your problem with all this? Obama publically disagrees with the far left in the Democratic Party and they disagree with him. What do you think this means?

You know, the Republican Party was much healthier back when there was some diversity of thinking, back when there were liberal Republicans. Back before Reagan and Goldwater and other western conservatives made the GOP an exclusively right-wing body. The Democratic Party was healthier then, too, when there were conservative Democrats. Too linear, too binary, too black-and-white, that's what's wrong in politics today.

Dem candidates and others reacted. However, they, except for the extreme, aren't turning on him, or else they would offend a large part of his admirers, the very same people they are counting on for votes.
Warren made it very clear

Elizabeth Warren, another left-leaning frontrunner, struck a more conciliatory tone, choosing to praise Mr Obama's trademark health care policy, the Affordable Care Act.

"I so admire what President Obama did," Ms Warren said at a campaign event in Iowa, the New York Times reported.

"He is the one who led the way on health care and got health care coverage for tens of millions of Americans when nobody thought that was possible."
US election 2020: Democrats respond to Obama's warning - BBC News

How what Obama said now in comparison to his wanting to fundamentally change this country has yet to be discovered.
IMHO

Obama wouldn't be the nominee today. That's how far Left the Democrat party is. Imagine Obama's positions on the border, his cages and his deterrence. He'd be attacked as a racist who hate "brown people".

Now, there is where I disagree. Obama would not be attacked for hating brown people or be the inventor of holding cages. The left likes staying in denial.

Right now, the immigrants that have died under Obama's watch is about the same as under Trump's watch.

Changing the topic is a classic liberal maneuver? Obama said "____________", liberals responded. That is what is to be discussed.
:2funny:
You just tried to **** on changing the topic by changing the topic. :lamo

Everybody in politics wants your money. You think maybe Republicans create money out of thin air? The biggest, most expensive increases in the size of government happen on Republican's watches.

In your country, I am sure they do.

This isn't Fox "News." Your projection is not something to be proud of. ;)

Another of your red herring :rwbdonkey:failpail:

Your opinion on democrats is irrelevant as you wouldn't vote for any no matter what, so...less than useless

Ew lala... I'll remember the above the next time democrats says something about Republicans.
You must be taking lessons in dodging from Nancy Pelosi.

I love the celebrity angle.

“I am #TooFarLeft because I believe that we cannot let greed cause the collapse of the ecosystem that supports all human life on earth,” says the guy that gets paid 608 thousand an episode and has a net worth of approx 68 million with a couple of multi million dollar homes and sweet sweet rides.

"#TooFarLeft because I want people to live in dignity. I’m #TooFarLeft because I seek justice and equality. I’m #TooFarLeft because I think healthcare and housing are human rights"
