In the first place, this action in Congress is primarily political. One Party, acting clearly along partisan lines, is seeking to oust a seated President via impeachment. That means any and all political ramifications of such an action come into play.

Actually only the basis for impeachment comes into play and that is the call and the held up aid, all well documented and supported.

Indications are they plan to hold a trial in the Senate, if enough Democrats in the House vote for Impeachment.

BTW, the New Democratic Party holds all rights to this impeachment circus. The Senate has a duty to respond should the clowns controlling the House send their act over to the other side of the capital.

It would be awesome to see Schiff on the grill.

Revealing the WB "motives" doesn't change the facts. Trump tried to strong arm a foreign leader using military aid as leverage.

Just like everyone who has testified so far, calling them names doesn't change the facts.

Trump did nothing of the sort. If the Democrats had actual evidence and proof that occured, they wouldn't be forced to rely on hearsay evidence and testimony from people like Taylor and Yavonavich.

Maybe people would actually care enough to watch the hearings if they had real evidence

I would welcome Trump to testify before the Schiff Committee. Sadly, he never will.

And I do not know what you have been watching on TV, but everything I have seen is going great for the Democrats and proceeding terribly for Trump.

The Republicans look terrible and their counsel looks even worse.

I have wondered if he has ever gone a day of his life without telling a lie. He certainly hasn't gone a day of his residency without doing so. I've never seen such a prolific liar in my entire life, and I've represented criminals. Okay... other criminals.
