Scalise: Trump pardons will improve military morale | TheHill

House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) on Sunday offered support for President Trump’s pardons of two U.S. service members in cases involving allegations of war crimes.

“Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace asked the lawmaker about the president clearing three men accused or convicted of war crimes, adding that “Senior Pentagon officials advised the president against” the decision because they believed it would “undermine the military justice system.”

Pardoning accused & convicted murderers is not the way to build espirit de corps into our Armed Forces. Ask the Pentagon.

Not surprising... Scalise heading to Trump's defense with a pardon that even the Pentagon was against.

Agreed with the article, all this does is invalidate the military justice system and make us look worse on the international stage.

"Great and unmatched wisdom" in action.

Dictators often overrule their generals.

But then Trump has said many times he knows more then the US generals, so this is no surprise.

It is when those soldiers were convicted on bull**** charges.

The president is the commander in chief. He has the authority to overrule the generals. Presidents have been doing it since George Washington.

What shade of lipstick do you put on before you kiss trumps fat rear end?

These pardons are a heartwarming story I cried. Reason #1 why Trump will be reelected in a landslide.

How does Bernie Sanders' dick taste?
I wouldn’t know, I don’t support Bernie Sanders. You on the other hand, you’d gladly let trump take a **** on your chest if he asked you.

Literally everything Obama did was one hundred percent acceptable, because he had the authority to do those things.

C'mon...you like the taste of Bernie's ****. Admit it. :lamo

He didn't have authority to inact DACA.

The list is long, so say "one hundred percent acceptable" :lamo

For those who often whine about Unconstitutional powers, DACA?

He did have that authority. The president has authority over investigations and prosecutions. He has authority, you are not allowed to question or object. Right?

Obama did all manner of things that were outside his constitutional authority. The Obama cultists will never admit it, though.

Prove your case in court. I’m not interested in debating your opinion. Anything he did that a court didn’t throw out, YOU MUST SUPPORT.

I challenge you to find one post of mine where I’ve supported Bernie Sanders. Every post you write reads as if you’ve got a poster of Trump above your bed.

You know I'm right. Go ahead and admit it. :lamo

I'm not stupid. I don't need a court to explain to me what a president's constitutional authority is. I already know that a president can't grant citizenship. He can't change, nor make law.

Why are you talking about another poster liking the taste of Bernie’s ****, apdst? You did it in two posts in this thread.

Still have sour grapes over Gov. Edwards winning in your LA last night?!

By the way, Skkkalise has his very own white supremacy issues from the past, doesn’t he?!

He ordered the murdered of an American citizen without providing him due process.

Already rejected in the post you quoted.
