WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday pardoned two Army officers accused of war crimes in Afghanistan and restored the rank of a Navy SEAL platoon commander who was demoted for actions in Iraq, a move critics have said would undermine military justice and send a message that battlefield atrocities will be tolerated.

I dont know how I feel about this; I dont know enough about the cases to pass judgement......but I also see this potentially undermining Military judicial authority.
But I also know the courts determined that unlawful command influence by a Navy Admiral had tainted the Gallagher case, and he was reduced in rank for the picture with a dead Taliban, while the other service members appeared to have been given a pass.

Seems like a bit of a circus.

I don't know about he other 2, but Gallagher sure got shafted by the military.

Pardoning war crimes sends a message that they're ok.

Nixonian.

He was America’s most notorious war criminal, but Nixon helped him anyway
President Trump’s consideration of pardons for U.S. servicemen recalls the case of 1st Lt. William L. Calley Jr., the only soldier convicted in the My Lai Massacre.

I don't know about these cases but Nixon should have minded his own business and Lt. Calley should have been put infront of a firring squad.

Absolutely everything is ok if you ask Trump supporters (as long as Trump is doing that).

This is much closer to an 'impeachable offense' than a phone conversation with Zelensky.

There is absolutely no legal requirement that any pardon be publicly trumpeted, and it would have been quite simple to arrange for everything to have happened quite quietly.

This, however, is NOT "The Trump Way".
