Something we have akways known.
But it will take up too much time to add these charges into the empeachment/senate trial.
So a court basically just said Stone lied about the Trump's campaign colluding with Russia.

no they didn't.
they convicted stone of lying.
this was already documented in the mueller report.
i have the mueller report conclusion on russia handy if you need it.
Colluding with guccifer 2.0 via wikileaks... Sorry lud. He lied about their collusion.
But collusion is not a specific offense or
theory of liability found in the U.S. Code; nor is it a term of art in federal criminal law. To the
contrary, even as defined in legal dictionaries, collusion is largely synonymous with conspiracy as
that crime is set forth in the general federal conspiracy statute, 18
The investigation did not establish that the contacts described in Volume
I, Section IV, supra, amounted to an agreement to commit any substantive violation of federal
criminal law—including foreign-influence and campaign-finance laws, both of which are
discussed further below. The Office therefore did not charge any individual associated with the
Trump Campaign with conspiracy to commit a federal offense arising from Russia contacts, either
under a specific statute or under Section 371’s offenses clause.
yep stone like mueller found no evidence between the trump campaign and russia.

Lol... Move those goal posts. Heave! Heeeeeeaaaave!
No collusion! No collusion! Okay collusion but collusion isnt in the US Code.
Conspiracy sure is in there though.
There goes the “I didn’t know him” defense.........
Donald J. Trump on Twitter: "So they now convict Roger Stone of lying and want to jail him for many years to come. Well, what about Crooked Hillary, Comey, Strzok, Page, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper, Shifty Schiff, Ohr & Nellie, Steele & all of the others, including even Mueller himself? Didn’t they lie?...."
So a court basically just said Stone lied about the Trump's campaign colluding with Russia.

The problem with that statement is that Roger Stone was never within the Trump Administration.... He was fired more than 15 months before the election during the primaries.
Roger Stone says he quit, Trump camp says it fired him - CNNPolitics
August 10, 2015 ~ By MJ Lee and Dana Bash
Donald Trump's campaign said Saturday it has fired top political adviser Roger Stone -- who promptly denied being let go and insisted he had quit.
Stone's disassociation from the Trump operation highlights the campaign's seeming lack of veteran political advisers, even as the 2016 season is ramping up in earnest.
Good, all scumbags belong in jail.
Never, to my knowledge, have we ever had a president with this much corruption in his admin and those around him.
Roger Stone: Jurors deliver verdict in Trump ally trial over WikiLeaks
Roger Stone guilty of lying to Congress to protect Trump and his campaign. Roger Stone, an ally of President Donald Trump, was found guilty Friday of lying to Congress and obstructing its investigation into Russia to protect Trump and his campaign.
Stone faced seven charges: one count of obstruction of an official proceeding, five counts of false statements and one count of witness tampering. The maximum penalty for all counts totals 50 years in prison, though first-time offenders generally receive much lower sentences.

While not indicated in this news report from USA Today, live reporting states Stone has been found guilty on all 7 counts.
Roger Stone was not a member of the President's administration.
Stone officially left the Trump campaign on August 8, 2015 at the campaign's request.

"and those around him." :doh
The evidence showed Trump was in direct contact with Stone on the Wikileaks releases, as was Bannon and others. So Stone was in the inner circle if he had contact to those at the very top of that circle, which he did.
I know it's hard to defend that, but surely it would be better not to try than show up with that awful defense, which is at best hair splitting.
He was a close friend and lied for Trump thus my example “and those around him”
It's not my problem that you don't like facts.
If you think I got something wrong when writing the above, refute it.
