Roger Stone guilty of lying to Congress to protect Trump and his campaign

OK, by trying again to move the goal posts, I assume you accept this as true:

[Stone] was convicted of perjury and it was related to his lies about contacts involving Wikileaks, through multiple emails and texts, many of them, giving Stone advance notice of releases of Russia-hacked emails that he forwarded to the Trump campaign.

And the President just lied about those contacts with Stone, all 21 of them, when he claimed he's too stupid/brain addled to have any recollection of the substance of those contacts despite assuring us he has the best memory, a great memory.

It's not my problem that you choose to "assume".

LOL, not surprising, why would anyone continue to believe this crap? What is it about people like you who cannot get over the fact that you lost the 2016 election and the Obama results are benefiting all Americans. Not sure what you expect from a President because obviously jobs, economic growth and activity aren't on your list. Obviously social issues are and those are state responsibilities.

I expect integrity, compassion and manners. All the basics we teach our children. Any republican can do a much better job than Trump has done. Trump has no shame and is one sickening human being. That's what I expect from my president. Not a bunch of corrupt criminals surrounding him and 13,000 lies spewing from his mouth. He is ignorant, uneducated, and a racist bigot. I've said enough.

It's amazing how some will try to convince us that Trump doesn't know guys he has on speed-dial!

Strawman.
I never claimed Trump didn't speak to Stone.
Until Trump says under oath that he didn't, where's the crime in talking to shady people?

Do you really delude yourself into believing that Democratic presidents haven't lied about their contact with shady characters?

If the above is all true, how about both parties find one who can beat Trump?
Why blame Trump?

You have no proof of this.

Good lord. Stone has been tangled in the Trump web for god knows how long. Just on this topic alone they shared a significant number of calls. So yes, there is proof Stone was within the Trump circle.

And if so, this makes Trump complicit of lying to congress, witness tampering, and other criminal conduct how?

Trump has not testified before Congress.

There's been nothing to the degree of criminality of the current White House. Nothing. Possibly with the exception of Nixon. So don't even try to go to those comparisons. If you want to accept criminality in the White House, do it without me.

Yes, there was obstruction, you should read the report. Barr's summary were outright lies.

i just showed you where you are wrong. leftist denial fallacies are no longer valid have a nice day.
2 articles say you are wrong and 2 not just 1 but 2 AG's say that there was no obstruction.

so have a nice day.
also the bloomberg article says that there was no obstruction.
facts don't care about your feelings.

remember obstruction actually requires intent.
not made up intent.

Isn't that what we are doing right now? The problem is the RNC has cancelled numerous GOP primaries in numerous states. If no one republican has a chance to beat Trump, how can we do that? Perhaps if we'd impeach the sicko, at least you people would have a slight chance of replacing him...

Trump only has support from about 40%. If all the eligible voters come out, Trump gets Thumped. You all are complaining about the wasted time with congress and impeachment. Dis you ever consider it's all due to Trumps actions?

While at the same time the GOP in the hearing the GOP is touting that there is no proof whatsoever that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia. I'd say they are all lying.

collusion is a crime and the mueller report said that there wasn't any so have a nice day.
facts don't care about your feelings.

Trump refused to testify to Mueller and lied in over half of his answers. How do we learn intent with a jerk like that?

You simply don't like the argument.
You have no point other than to show that you have a huge double standard when it comes to the shady acquaintances of Democratic presidents.

Your initial complaint was because you weren't comprehending what you replied to. Instead of realizing "in his administration and those around him" could be describing two groups, you wanted to argue Stone wasn't in the administration. We can all read it. Then you uprooted the goal posts and are running all over the field instead of just owning up that your initial reply was misguided.

Stone was very much within the Trump circle and has been for some time and is now joining Cohen and Manafort who are serving time for criminal behavior.

I don't put a lot of faith in the Trump approval polls simply because they failed in 2016, but since that wasn't your main point, I digress.
You want Trump primaried out when his base is still with him? Are you kidding me? Do you seriously want a civil war to ensue as a result of that action?

To your last point, that's debatable. I see the Democrat's Schift-show as bogus, divisive, unAmerican, and all POLITICS.

Roger Stone: Jurors deliver verdict in Trump ally trial over WikiLeaks

Roger Stone guilty of lying to Congress to protect Trump and his campaign. Roger Stone, an ally of President Donald Trump, was found guilty Friday of lying to Congress and obstructing its investigation into Russia to protect Trump and his campaign.

Stone faced seven charges: one count of obstruction of an official proceeding, five counts of false statements and one count of witness tampering. The maximum penalty for all counts totals 50 years in prison, though first-time offenders generally receive much lower sentences.

--

While not indicated in this news report from USA Today, live reporting states Stone has been found guilty on all 7 counts.

It is too early to conclude anything from this so-called "verdict" since Mr. Stone has not even filed his appeal yet. Even if Mr. Stone loses that appeal then it will still be too early to conclude anything from that so-called "loss" since Mr. Stone would not have filed his appeal from that so-called "loss". Even if Mr. Stone were to lose his appeal from losing his appeal it will still be too early to conclude anything from that so-called "loss" as Mr. Stone would not have even filed his appeal to the Supreme Court of the United States of America yet. Even if Mr. Stone were to lose his appeal at the Supreme Court of the United States of America it would be too early to conclude anything from that so-called "loss" as it would not yet have been established that the huge, vast, extensive, secret, hidden, covert, 'Deep State' conspiracy hadn't conspired to create the situation which lead to such an obvious perversion of justice.

trump did testify and submitted his answers in writting.
so you are wrong there.

you have no proof he lied and mueller did not charge him with perjury so you are wrong there as well.
that is the job of the state to prove intent.

It's not my problem that you choose to "assume".

It's not my problem you can't address what are obvious points, the facts, what happened, and so move the goal posts every time you're challenged, or otherwise avoid the facts. You did it again.

I don't know why you're doing this because it serves no purpose. You aren't fooling anyone. We know the facts, are giving them to you, and you hilariously have no response, over and over.

I know what my initial point was, and I have now moved away from that point and onto the above.
The crimes Cohen, Manafort, and Stone have been convicted of above do not make Trump a criminal. Did the conviction and subsequent jail sentence of Tony Rezko and Obama's known ties to this criminal make Obama a criminal? Of course not, and not anymore than Trump's alleged deep ties to Stone make Trump complicit in his crimes.

Are we done here?
Because I am not interested in your usual ten page rebuttals where you wearily invest your time arguing minutiae.

And yet the election was in November 2016 under the Obama Administration and Justice Department!!

James Comey, a Republican ran the FBI well into 2017. The DOJ was run by Sessions from February 2017 onwards.

Are you confused as to who ran the WH, Senate and House then?

The GOP had ample time to grab Hillary and lock her up and expose her crimes. They failed in the real world.

Unlike the imaginary business ventures buffoons pretend to have on the internet. Those always succeed.

By next week, Trump will never have even known him. Amirite?

Did you miss the NEWS FLASHES from The Current Response And Position Bulletin?

News Flash -:- "President Trump has never, in his life, met - or even been in the same city as - Roger Stone. All so-called "photographic evidence" to the contrary has been Photoshopped by a left-wing, liberal, socialist, pinko, commie conspiracy that wants to further its secret conspiracy aimed at destroying the United States of America."

News Flash -:- "President Trump has never, in his life, met anyone whose name was either "Roger" or "Stone".

News Flash -:- "There is not, nor has there ever been, any such person as Roger Stone."

You don't know the facts. You have not presented facts on this thread. You are in search of a crime.
Stop pretending that you know what I think. Stop assuming. This is not a court of law. It's a discussion thread.

You couldn't challenge me if you try. Your only argument is appeal to emotion, and strawmen. And when that doesn't work for you, you go with the usual ad hominem fails.

The choice in November will be Trump vs any Democrat now running. I will choose Trump AGAIN!! Stop the left leaning bs and double standards. There isn't a Democrat running that isn't corrupt so there is no viable alternative to Trump. You buy rhetoric and ignore results, typical radical liberal
