Trump attacks ambassador on Twitter as she testifies

If this doesn't bolster an article of impeachment, nothing will.

Right. LOL
Great we will impeach a president because someone’s feelings are hurt. She FELT threatened. She didn’t like how Trump was bad mouthing her. OMG is that all you have, good luck.
I say let’s get to the vote and onto the senate where they will conduct a real trial, not a fishing expedition in hopes of finding something.

After a long period of time, I have come to this same conclusion.
Zelinski said that Yavonovich would not work with him. He said she was close to the last regime, and was not receptive to Zelinski’s ideas. Is he lying ?
Serious question. Her version of what happened doesn’t match Zelinskis.

Yep, so why does Trump feel compelled to offer up any criticism?

he is allowed to? 1st amendment? i think it is stupid but he is allowed to do it.
but there is not an intimidation or threat in the tweet.

that is just made up leftist nonsense as usual here is the tweet.

Everywhere Marie Yovanovitch went turned bad. She started off in Somalia, how did that go? Then fast forward to Ukraine, where the new Ukrainian President spoke unfavorably about her in my second phone call with him. It is a U.S. President’s absolute right to appoint ambassadors.

They call it “serving at the pleasure of the President.” The U.S. now has a very strong and powerful foreign policy, much different than proceeding administrations. It is called, quite simply, America First! With all of that, however, I have done FAR more for Ukraine than O.

leftist are deluded at this point with stupid. there is simply nothing in that tweet that is
threatening or anything else.
Yes, the leftists like...

Bret Baier on Twitter: "That was a turning point in this hearing so far. She was already a sympathetic witness & the President’s tweet ripping her allowed Schiff to point it out real time characterizing it as witness tampering or intimidation -adding an article of impeachment real-time.… https://t.co/2rgHRUOWAp"

Lauren Fox on Twitter: "GOP intel member Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) tells Haley Byrd on her way to vote that she disagrees with President Trump’s tweet attacking former ambassador Yovanovitch. “I disagree with the tweet. I think Ambassador Yovanovitch is a public servant..”"

James Poniewozik on Twitter: "Ken Starr on Fox News: “The president was not advised by counsel in deciding to do this tweet. Extraordinarily poor judgment… Obviously this was quite injurious.”"

Michael Steele on Twitter: "Dude! You realize she’s testifying LIVE?! Amb. Yovanovitch will respond to this tweet...yup, there it is. You just made her case of intimidation. Is no one in the room with you?"

I mean, who doesn't think of Fox News reporter Bret Baier, Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, former GOP hired independent counsel and frequent Fox News contributor Ken Star and former RNC chairman Michael Steele as clear leftists?

The amount of stupid from Trump supporters is nearly overwhelming.

no attack no intimidation or anything else.

the amount of stupid of leftist

It's a bit of popularism because people seem to be screaming loudest for these sorts of far-left programs. Though I don't think that going a Sanders or a Warren is an automatic win for Trump. I think had Trump been a reasonable President and a decent human being, that it would be almost an auto-win for him. But because of how terrible he is, this is one of those few chances that a far-left ideology like those supported by Sanders has a reasonable chance to get in.

And once you get that bureaucracy going, it's very, very hard to bring down.

I think the threat of Trump isn't just contained in his own criminal behavior and incompetence, but in the backlash those will also bring to the Republic. I think there is need for concern from that avenue.

That being said, even if the Dems do put up a Sanders or a Warren, I will not vote for Trump. I'd vote for Vermin Supreme before I vote for Trump.

Colorado is not going red, just as Texas is not going blue, the POTUS election (as usual) will come down to how "independents" vote in a few swing (purple) states.

I would think it's more of a warning to anyone else testifying in the future in this impeachment. So I would say witness intimidation is the call here.

A warning of what? That if they get on a public stage to testify against the president, he or others may say negative things back?

Again, I don't think this was in any way professional or respectable, I just think "threat" is going too far

It's likely true, the demographics of Colorado have changed quite a bit. But even with the independents, I think that since almost everyone buys into the false-dichotomy, many may hold their nose and vote for a Sanders or Warren because of how bad Trump is.

She was responsible for Somalia falling apart? Powerful woman.

Can you quote Trump saying she is responsible for Somalia falling apart?

But hey...spin is spin, right?

the amount of stupid of leftist
Please present your evidence that a Fox News lead reporter, a Republican congresswoman, a GOP hired independent counsel and frequent Fox News contributor, and the former RNC chairman are "leftists", as you have suggested. What evidence do you have for your statement?

Also, while I have you, please respond to the following, as you have been notably ducking answering it in the other thread:

Now, let's get back to the topic you are trying to duck. I'll remind you:

1) Taylor and Kent are witnesses. Why would they have anything to do with the whistleblower? Do you have a non-stupid answer to that question?

2) Is it your position the President of the United States is not beholden to the Constitution of the United States? Because the Consitution clearly says duly elected members of Congress hold the power to impeach the President for wrongdoing.

So which is it? Is our duly elected Congressional representatives following the Constitution a good thing or do you believe the President is greater than the Constitution?

...

I didn't say the President worked for Congress, I asked you if the President should be held responsible to the Consitution, which clearly lays out a path for duly elected members of Congress to impeach if they find wrongdoing.

So, again, is the President beholden to the Constitution or not?

Please respond to those questions that you have been ducking. Thanks.

That (bolded above) assertion is precisely why Trump should have said nothing at all. Everyone has the right to say stupid things, but they also should have the common sense not to do so.

Right. LOL

yovanovitch is irrelevant. she has nothing to offer and no evidence other than a fired disgruntled employee with an ax to grind.

Trump attacks ambassador on Twitter as she testifies that his words in Ukraine call made her feel threatened

Trump attacks ambassador as she testifies in impeachment hearing

President Donald Trump on Friday lashed out at former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, as she testified in a public impeachment hearing in the House that his words about her in a phone call with the Ukraine president “sounded like a threat. Everywhere Marie Yovanovitch went turned bad,” Trump claimed in a two-part tweet. “She started off in Somalia, how did that go? Then fast forward to Ukraine, where the new Ukrainian President spoke unfavorably about her in my second phone call with him. It is a U.S. President’s absolute right to appoint ambassadors,” the president wrote.

--

Schiff allowed Yovanovitch to respond to the president’s tweets during the hearing Friday, which I thought was pretty awesome.

Also, I just want to say that Yovanovitch is doing a wonderful job with her testimony today. Yovanovitch's professionalism, sincerity, deep knowledge of Ukraine, and her calm and logical demeanor is such a big contrast with the s*** show that is this administration.

Schiff openly called out Trump's witness intimidation.

Please respond to those questions that you have been ducking. Thanks.

you didn't answer my question.

here is the tweet where is the attack or intimidation..

why can't you honestly answer my question instead of dishonestly hacking my post apart?
weren't you the one ranting about honesty yet here you are being dishonest again.

so where is the attack or intimidation?

It shows a man who is extremely paranoid and doing everything he can to shift the focus. Not the actions of an innocent man.

you didn't answer my question.
Only after you didn't answer mine.

Do you plan to answer why you think "Bret Baier, Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, former GOP Independent counsel and frequent Fox News contributor Ken Star and former RNC chaiman Michael Steele [are] clear leftists?"?

Also, I'm still waiting for your response to the following questions:

1) Taylor and Kent are witnesses. Why would they have anything to do with the whistleblower? Do you have a non-stupid answer to that question?

2) Is it your position the President of the United States is not beholden to the Constitution of the United States? Because the Consitution clearly says duly elected members of Congress hold the power to impeach the President for wrongdoing.

As soon as you answer my questions, which I asked before you asked yours, I will answer your question. How come you are so scared to answer my questions?

All your palaver notwithstanding; the ambassador was recalled. She now is assigned to Georgetown University, if you are listening the prior was just explained to you.

The GOP counsel is weak.......
