Matt Bevin concedes defeat in Kentucky governor's race - CNNPolitics

Kentucky Republican Gov. Matt Bevin conceded defeat on Thursday to Democratic state Attorney General Andy Beshear.

The concession comes after Bevin requested all 120 counties in the state recheck the results from last week's gubernatorial election. That recanvass showed Beshear still leading over Bevin.

Bevin, elected governor in 2015, has faced backlash for seeking to undercut the state's Medicaid expansion and calling teachers "selfish" and accusing them of a "thug mentality" when they protested after he threatened to cut their pensions.

Over a week after he was defeated fair and square, Kentucky's manbaby governor has finally conceded to the Democrat.

3+ years and democrats still haven’t conceded that Trump won fair and square

It only took us twelve minutes to get this thread's whataboutism winner!

If we are lucky, Trump will accept defeat so gracefully next year.

I have no expectation he will accept defeat without challenge or touting some new conspiracy theory though.

Maybe he could have someone write a book for him title it What Happened and offer up excuses on why people chose a diffrent candidate.

Guess all that conspiracy theory crap about how he would stay in office with the help of the Republican legislature was total load of crap. Reasonable people knew it was junk to begin with.

Not familiar with Kentucky politics but I'm guessing The Turtle gave Bevin no help whatsoever.

I suspect you are referencing something, but I am not sure what.

It only took 1 reply for you to use “whataboutism” as your argument since you made no argument in the OP it was clear that this is a trolling thread

And when can we expect the crybaby Democrats to concede that Trump won the 2016 election?

The 12th of never?

This thread's whataboutism award has already gone out. You are late. Would you like a participation trophy?

A news story is trolling? :lamo

Keep going. Your pure desperation is showing.

He got buy with a little help from his friends - or is the term comrades more appropriate?

As for not getting over it, apparently this churlish idiotic rationale is sufficient for the faithful to dismiss reality and anything that might otherwise disturb the greatness that is trump.

They don't believe he won fair and square and they never will...especially after he tried to subvert the election with foreign interference a second time.

Not unless it comes with an orange slice...;)

It was a close race. Bevins had every right to have all precincts to report their vote counts again. He did the right thing afterward and conceded. Congratulations to the new governor of Kentucky.

what will the never Trumpers do if he wins?

If Trump gets beat there is zero chance that he goes out gracefully. He will cry like the biggest baby on the planet.

He will say that the election was stolen by illegal immigrants voting and try to get it overturned.

Continue to observe some very misguided and ghuolish individuals 'like' other's posts in which they wish death upon political adversaries.

what does that have to do with this thread? is this another case where you are going to fixate on an erroneous interpretation?

Getting past the Republican partisan nonsense in this thread, Beshear's victory has enormous ramifications for Kentucky's future elections. Republicans rely heavily on voter suppression tactics, and with Beshear's victory, over a hundred thousand ex-felons will have their voting rights returned to them.

Andy Beshear’s win in Kentucky is also a win for ex-felon voting rights - Vox

That certainly doesn't mean that Republicans won't win future elections; it just means that they'll have to rely on a little less cheating to make it happen.

I think the evidence is that the Never Trumpers are far more likely to have volcanic eruptions if Trump wins versus the alternative scenario. That is because Trump haters TEND to be far more reliant and dependent on government that we who find the current crop of Democrat "contenders" to be a clown show
