Oh I thought about that right away when I heard about this whistleblower. "what other dirty tricks has he been up to?" The whole Khashoggi thing, rejecting the facts presented by or CIA and he took up Khashoggi's defense and swept it all under a rug. The Russians in the Oval Office, that was mindblowing for me because he invited those Russian spies into the Oval Office at Putin's request! There will be things that will be uncovered for years after he's gone.

Thank God (no kidding) that we still have some people in government that are sincerely working on behalf of the United States.

Even so it does not change the facts that there were GOP candidates with far better qualifiations and more integrity than Trump and the degenerates on the right made him the candidate and elected him.

And MORE evidence has come to light since 2015 on the Hunter Biden and his dad Quid Pro Ouo Joe. And I'll use Fox any day over CNN . Project Viritas has destroyed Zuckerberg's and CNN's credibility. :lol:

Sometimes you get lucky and meet some cool, real people. I was in a ski accident a few years ago and found myself stuck in the house for a couple months. I started playing a game and met some great people. A group of us formed lasting friendships and now meet in some random place and share a rental house for a few days every year. It cost me a bunch of money (to play the game), which is why I landed on DP this time, but I imagine the possibility is the same.

Hey its the Dems fault they elected a Sh**** candidate that could not beat Trump . I voted for a different candidate in the primary. But I sure as HELL wasn't going to vote for the idiot crook Hillary Clinton you morons ran for president. Its your fault Trump is president.

Right now, the polls stand at 52% in favor of impeachment and removal...how are they on shaky ground...and btw, that is before the live tv interviews have begun.

That's bull**** and never happened. Link any article that says what Fox says from any other source like the BBC, CBS, AlJazeera, or any other source. You can't because those are REAL news sources, not like Fox conspiracy theory network.

This should be obvious, but I and lots of other people have been saying it for a long time. The impeachment investivation and trial, if there is one, are not for most Americans. Everyone who has conclusive opinions about them are almost irrelevant in the process. Moderates and independents, as usual, hold the key. If the Democrats offer a compelling case and the Senate acquits Trump anyway, I think those voters will vote Trump out of office. If the Republicans win the public opinion war (whether the Democrats make a good case or not), I think Trump will win reelection.

Best thing to happen would be for the Republicans to show all those tuning in just how dumb their defense is. "We have no witnesses to dispute the facts and, yes, Trump did what they say, but this is a witch hunt!"

I too am curious to see how this plays out.

Clinton was never indicted...in fact, he was cleared by the Senate. He was fined and disbarred for perjury. Can we put Trump under oath? I am certain he will perjure himself...

After the impeachment investigation is finished, I would bet that there will be more republicans that will call it quits because of this newfound democratic majority in the House. Those previous departures are why there was a blue wave in 2018 giving democrats the majority in the House.

Trump just gave the Democrats the ammunition they need. He'a a crook, a coward, a cheater, a liar, and a world class asshole, but the Democrats aren't saints. I will commend them for doing the right thing (in this case), but I'm still never going to join their ranks. They win by default, not because they're champions of righteousness and patriotism. Credit goes where credit is due to the extent such credit was earned and not any more than that.

Ain't that a kick in the stones? I had an employee who doubled as a notorious liar. I would tell him what other people told me. I'd present written records of his transgressions. I'd catch him red handed doing things that he wasn't allowed to do. I'm sure he was a Trump voter. He would look into my eyes and tell me that everything was a lie. His emails were lies. Our bank activity was a lie. A dozen other people were liars. I wondered all along, as I wonder about Trump & Co.: Did you really think you could piss on my leg and tell me it's raining? And that I would believe you? Psychos, I tell you. Certifiable psychos.

Winning 'by default' as you put it, if it does happen that the democrats can prove Trump committed impeachable offenses, is something more than just a 'win' for the party, it's a win for democracy. This is that serious, that Trump's actions defied constitutional law and abused his power as the president to the extent that may in fact jeopardize our national security in the future..

I'm not disagreeing that Trump presents a constitutional and arguably even an existential dilemma. As Biden would say, "This is a big ****ing deal." I'm just not going to gush over the Democrats about it. If my Democratic House member didn't hold Trump's ass over the fire, I'd vote against him. In fact, he knows that because I've told him. But I'm not going to send him a gift basket for doing his job.

If I sent anyone gift baskets it would be to those brave people, who despite threats of death and loss of their long-time careers with the government. I would send a basket to Marie Yovanovitch, Fiona Hill, Alex Vindman and Bill Taylor. These people are patriots in the flesh and to the bone.

I’m with you, HumblePi. We’ll be learning a lot about his corruption in the months and years to come. It is essential for our nation that he be removed from office as soon as possible.
