It doesn't appear that you haveread

    "The Historical Origins of Impeachment"

    and/or

"A Complete Collection of State Trials and Proceedings for High Treason and Other Crimes and Misdemeanors from the Earliest Period to the Year 1783"

because, if you had, you wouldn't keep on asking the same irrelevant question.

At present it is impossible for the "Democrats" (whatever that means) to PROVE that Mr. Trump "committed impeachable offences" since that PROOF would have to be in the form of a conviction in the Senate and there is (currently) no way that the "Republicans" (whatever that means) in the US Senate would vote to convict REGARDLESS of the evidence.

That acquittal no more means that, in fact, Mr. Trump did NOT "commit impeachable offences" than Mr. Simpson's acquittal meant that he did NOT, in fact, murder his wife.

Unfortunately that is NOT what the current issue of The Current Response And Position Bulletin says.

I had an idea for a really GREAT television show, we'd get the winner of the Super Bowl to play the runner up in the Australian Football League championships. The first quarter would be played under "Aussie Rules", the second under "NFL Rules", the third under "Aussie Rules" and, if the Super Bowl winners could manage to get 8 players on the field for the fourth quarter it would be played under "NFL Rules" (but the Aussies would be required to play with one hand tied behind their backs.

Unfortunately it turned out that the insurance premiums would exceed the most wildly optimistic level of advertising revenues by around 300%, so it'll never happen.
