Haley claims Tillerson, Kelly tried to recruit her to subvert Trump, 'save the country' | TheHill

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley claims two of President Trump’s former senior advisers tried to recruit her to subvert him in order to “save the country,” The Washington Post reported Sunday, citing Haley’s upcoming memoir and an interview with her.

According to the newspaper, Haley said former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and former White House chief of staff John Kelly would try to get her to work around and undermine the president.
===========================================================
What was involved in the proposed subversion might have involved borrowing a page from Bill Clinton's playbook.

'“It was their decisions, not the president’s, that were in the best interests of America, they said. The president didn’t know what he was doing,” she continued.'

Tillerson and Kelly are among the "I'm always right, never lie, and read only books," crowd. In fact, Tillerson explained that he really didn't need to fill all those vacancancies at State - he could handle it. Why, he was a one man state department.

Traitors in the midst. I thought Trump was known for choosing good subordinates.

Their mistake was in believing that they were furthering the interests of the United States, when in fact their primary purpose was in serving the interests of a single man.

Let me guess, she is writing a book.
Everyone writes a book and they need drama to generate interest.

Which foreign enemy did they aid and abet?

Sent from the Matrioshka in the WH Christmas tree.

You really should stop trying to use words you don't understand the meaning of.

So, there was a Deep State, after all. It consisted of the people Trump hired.

You should really look up the word 'traitor'.

And twump is known for choosing literally the worst subordinates.

I think backstabber would be a good synonym for traitor.

Since she sold out to Trump I'm not sure why I would take her word, but whatever.

If Tillerson and Kelly were part of the resistance and she wasn't, then history will give them more credit than it gives her.

Two peas in a pod ...

Humans are fallible, and politics makes strange bedfellows. Even Caesar fell to traitors in his midst.
