Trump says he might attend Russia Victory Day events in May - Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday he was considering attending Russia’s May 9 Victory Day commemorative events after President Vladimir Putin extended an invitation.

“I appreciate the invitation. It is right in the middle of political season, so I’ll see if I can do it, but I would love to go if I could,” Trump told reporters before departing the White House for campaign-related events.

This is the kind of militaristic parade that Trump saw in Paris on Bastille Day & wanted for D.C. Shows his close relationship to the Russian autocrat Putin.

I hope that he decides to stay in Russia.

Tell Vlad I'll be more flexible after election....

Trump must still be livid that the Russians mocked his D.C. parade:

Russian State-Run Media Mocked President Trump's July 4 'Salute to America'
Journalists on Russian state-owned media were underwhelmed by President Trump’s Independence Day parade.

Commentators on Russian news channel Rossiya 24 and the popular program 60 Minutes criticized the Washington, D.C. event for showcasing older military machinery that they said looked like it was held together with “adhesive tape” and covered with “peeling paint.”

Journalist Artem Krasulin on Rossiya 24 pointed out that the machinery’s guns didn’t have barrels, and that some of the weapons on display looked “battered.”

Trump just loves power parades. I wonder how he handled this mockery?

Here's a clear fact, no more wondering about it. Trump is a Russian asset. Trump puts Russia's foreign policy over that of the US as evidenced in Ukraine. Trump is not on the side of the United States, he is on the side of despots like Erdogan, Mohammded bin Salman and Assad al Bashar. Russia has deeply infiltrated our government starting with Trump and going all the way down the line to Rand Paul, Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, Mark Meadows, Jim Jordan, Lee Zelden and Steve Scalise to name a few. They're all working for the benefit of Vladimir Putin. We're on the brink of losing this country totally to Russia. One day we may even see Russian troops in Washington.

Trump is out for himself. If it's to his advantage to side with Putin, as it seems to be here, he will do it. Remember that, when you pull the lever next November.

REcent analysis suggests that there is at least a 30% chance that when he gets to Russia he resigns and seeks asylum. :)

Sadly, that is unlikely to happen unless Putin orders him to do it.

Yep, she sentenced herself to quite the life when she married him.

If Trump attends the parade & stands next to Putin on top of Lenin's tomb in Red Square, how much you want to be he salutes the Russian colors as they pass by? After all, he would not want to embarrass his host & best buddy Putin standing next to him.
