A judge ordered President Donald Trump to pay $2 million to a collection of nonprofit organizations as part of a settlement with the New York state attorney general's office to resolve a civil lawsuit that alleged "persistent" violations of charities law that included unlawful coordination with the 2016 Trump presidential campaign, according to a court filing Thursday.

Filed in June 2018, the lawsuit alleged that the President and his three eldest children -- Don Jr., Ivanka and Eric -- violated federal and state campaign finance laws and abused the Donald J. Trump Foundation's tax-exempt status. According to the lawsuit, the Trumps allowed the foundation to be used "as little more than a checkbook to serve Mr. Trump's business and political interests."





Its a good thing the Trump family have come to save the soul of America and help clean out that swamp.

No worries. It only matters to those of us that care about honesty, integrity, decency etc. So we are already very aware it doesn't matter to Trump supporters.

And you say that because Trump has reduced Job growth from where it was under Obama? GDP growth has remained steady? Millions of people have lost health insurance? The only accomplishments Trump can tout are "I've doubled the deficit and have given your children even more debt" and "I haven't completely ruined the economy in the process".

The evidence concerning the case involving the fines the Obama campaign incurred indicates it was unintentional.

That Trump has admitted to 'personally misusing funds at the Trump Foundation' is a big deal.

Keep supporting a crook.

Oh, and one more thing, if you want a criminal charge, Trump was an unindicted co-conspirator in at least one of the felony charges that his lawyer, Michael Cohen, plead guilty to.
