and I think the senator from Delaware who correctly noted that Second Amendment advocates are going to use that for years is correct. But not because of what Beta said, but rather the approving howls he got from the Democrat crowd and most of the other candidates. Those who criticized him did so because of political expediency
I'm not so sure about that (bolded above). I know quite a few left leaning folks who are gun owners and cringe when they hear that police state nonsense.

He was never in any serious contention. Got a lot of hype in the media though.
I think losing 3 campaigns for high office in less than two years is something anyone would attempt to avoid.
True, at least he was honest, wrong but I give him kudos being he comes from my Republic. Unlike the snakes in other countries that say give just a little and you lose everything. I wish him well, just not in politics.
