How about if I wear a shirt that says "OK sweetie"? These goofs don't even know that the "Boomers" are the Woodstock, dope smoking slackers, degenerates and hippies.
Don't associate me with them!!! I carefully avoided Boomer thinking and have done a pretty good job maintaining a Silent Generation world view!

Meh... I give them props for fighting that massive conflict and building a prosperous infrastructure in America for some but they had their issues. A lot of it racially rooted. All generations have their issues. Checkerboard Strangler gets pissed at me for bagging on the boomers but I'm pissed at where we are at and they hold and have held the levers of power too much and they are responsible for why we are where we are. My lazy ass generation GenX didn't even bother to show up to contest this power fight by boomers at all. Now millenials are walking over GenX's lazy bodies and speaking up and they are catching crap for it. I say... Go millenials go.

Bottom line... no nostalgia. Move forward.

But in theirs, a ‘boomer” is an angry white guy in a MAGA hat sitting there yelling “megadittos” at his AM radio.

I'm sixty-three, and thus solidly IN Boomer territory and my parents WERE the so called "Silent Generation", although I prefer to refer to them as the "Greatest Generation".

I don't EVER remember my parents acting like you.
I don't EVER remember anyone my parents associated with acting like you.
