Why do you think makes up the UN? The ceasefire wont hold because Syria wants more of the Kurds land. This is just the start.

Yet we are the ones who are supposed to deal with it?
I don't think that sounds exactly fair to us, or to those who are being hurt at all.

If everyone put Syria to task on this, they could be made to stop. But instead we're elected to be the only ones to get our hands dirty in all of this.

This is going to be Iraq all over again for most of us and I don't relish the idea of having to treat these men when they come home.

I'd prefer they be sent home, but at least theyre out of harm's way in SA.

We are already there and we cant just cut and run away without making the problem worse in the very near future. We shouldn't have invaded Iraq in 2003 but we did so we cant just run away now.

We are making the problem worse by staying there. Our troops have no purpose being there except to prolong the conflict. Trump made a good decision.

The PKK is but one faction of Kurds. Kind of like blaming all Americans for the KKK. Trump abandoned ALL of them (in Syria anyway) and I doubt Turkey is being all that picky about which ones they shoot.

I never said there weren’t terrorists in the PKK. But to say they are, overall, worse than ISIS is ridiculous and everyone else but you seems to understand that.

Look back at what I wrote. I was comparing Kurd desire for independence to American colonists. Btw, there likely wouldn’t be a USA without France involvement.
