[h=1]House Democrats Walk Out Of White House Syria Meeting, Accusing Trump Of 'Meltdown'[/h]
Congressional Democrats walked out of a bipartisan White House meeting with President Trump about his decision to pull U.S. troops out of Syria, a meeting in which Trump called House Speaker Nancy Pelosi "a third-rate politician" according to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Speaking to reporters on the White House driveway Wednesday after the meeting, Pelosi said the president had a "meltdown" inside, looked shaken, "and was not relating to reality."

Trump lobbed the same insult back Wednesday night, tweeting that it was Pelosi who had the "meltdown":

Schumer said Trump was not engaged in a dialogue, but "a nasty diatribe, not focused on the facts, particularly the fact of how to curtail ISIS that aims to hurt the United States in our homeland."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Most of us have already heard or read about this confrontation in the White House. Trump called Nancy Pelosi "a third grade politician" -- he meant 'third rate politician' so the press has corrected that for him

If you see the photo of the angry exchange, notice the men sitting at that table and their body posture. Many of them have their heads down in shame. Nancy Pelosi told him "all roads with you lead to Putin", that's when he exploded and called her a '3rd rate politican' and the 3 democrats walked out. It's obvious that there's going to be no government business happening going forward.

One last comment the angry Trump yelled to them, "we'll see you at the polls". This is extremely telling in those few words. It tells me that Trump sees all of this as nothing other than a tug of war, a political beauty contest. This confrontation was symbolic of the end of the way democracy works in the US

Pelosi is an old windbag. She's as crooked as they come, look at her family history, and who she married. Pathetic hypocrite needs to be tossed out of the House.

Okay

What does that have to do with Trumps meltdown?

Wow, just replace the name Pelosi with Trump and it still works!

That's a lie. Your man is in deep trouble, and he's going out whether you like it or not.

It means that Trump was right! By shouting at people he should he working with he's making America great again@

He once said at a Republican debate that "with congress, you have to get everyone in the room, Grab'em, kiss'em and hug'em to get the deal done"!(Or something like that)

Trumpers have all but forgotten the "Art of the deal"

Is he? It's not a lie, there's been all kinds of shady **** going on in San Francisco during the last century, and her family, Pelosi, and Kamala Harris have all been part of it. They're getting rich while the poor have to **** in the streets.

So you admit she's been part of a crooked syndicate all her life.

Yes, it's all a lie. Nothing but fake news trying to make Pelosi look bad. Hey, she may end up being your president one day, show some respect.

That article left out the best part from Schumer:

"He was insulting, particularly to the speaker," Schumer told reporters later on Wednesday. "She kept her cool completely. But he called her a third-rate politician. He said that there are communists involved and you guys might like that. I mean, this was not a dialogue. It was sort of a diatribe — a nasty diatribe not focused on the facts, particularly the fact of how to curtail ISIS, a terrorist organization that aims to hurt the United States in our homeland."

lmao, sounds to me like Trump was just giving them a bit of truth.

'Cept there was no deal to be worked out in this case.

Yet you are in love with someone 1000x worse. Amazing how you love someone for the same reasons you hate another. There is a word for that.

1. President Trump is too nice.

2. He should never let Speaker Pelosi enter the White House.

a. She has obvious contempt for the President.

3. The two should communicate solely by letter.

No one should be surprised by the way Donald Trump works.

He's always tried to intimidate carpenters and small businesses and plumbers and construction workers and electricians and (insert any job a normal Republican works this very day).

The problem is his daddy's money doesn't work to intimidate in Washington DC.

They are all clowns in my view, the lowest of the low.

Nancy claiming that all roads lead to Putin is hysterical! She still believes the DNC Russiagate nonsense, no surprise.

Spoiled children acting out.

The 'art' of Trump's deals have always been intimidation and threats.

And.... she's 3rd in line for his job and he knows that too. Trump is super intimidated by strong women. I think it's a 'mommy' thing with him. His mommy didn't give him love or attention. She was too occupied being chauffeured around in her limousine being driven to the co-op projects Fred built to collect the dimes and quarters that were inserted into the pay-laundry machines in the laundry rooms of those projects. She rarely interacted with Donald when he was a kid. He never had an attachment to Mary as he did with his father Fred.

His disassociation with his mother is possibly the explanation for his belligerence and his impulsivity, his bottomless need for applause and his clockwork rage when he doesn’t get it, his failed marriages and his ill-tempered treatment of women who challenge him.

She has no credibility. The WH paints the story differently.

For someone with no credibility the RNC supplied a ton of credence to her ability when they ran on scare tactics of her becoming speaker again.
And also when they used her as a foil to win back the house.
Other than that, totally legit post.

She 100% right. The first sign of that fact, and subsequently things to come was the welcoming of the two of Russia's top spies in the Oval Office (per Putin's request) and all just a day or two after Comey was fired. Yes, all roads have led to Putin.

She will still be in office long after trump is nothing more than bad history.

I suppose that could be a true statement if one's imagination is extremely rich and active, to the point of hallucinatory.

I agree, the Democrats need stop going to the WH, this not the first time trumo has gone off the rails in meetings with them and it is pointless at this point to try working with trump. Block his actions whenever possible, do your duty and due deligence with the Impeachment is inquiry and impeach him per the findings, beat him and the Repubs in the Senate in November 2020 and begin the long process of undoing the damage the POS has inflicted on this Great Nation.

It was this meeting specifically that was the impetus for Andrew McCabe to open a counterintelligence investigation on Trump.

Russia’s Oval Office Victory Dance - POLITICO Magazine
