Trump disparages Pelosi at their first meeting since impeachment inquiry began, Democrats say

He got elected promising to bring our troops home and to end foreign wars. He is fulfilling a promise. While I feel sympathy for the Kurds. Their conflict with Turkey has been going on for 100's of years and will continue. They have some radical Kurds that are bad actors . I don't think we should risk American lives defending them in their war against an American ally by treaty. Turkey made it clear they were going to mount an attack even if we did not withdraw our troops. So Trump got them out of harms way. Perhaps some American moms wont have to bury their children because of his difficult decision.

He got elected because of Russian interference and James Comey.

It's illegal for any US official to solicit or accept anything of value from a foreign government and that includes op research, without approval from congress. See Article One: section four.

Trump might've had an excuse for not knowing the law when he first ran for office but not this time. Now he's producing enough rope to hang himself. Let him dangle.

Pelosi is the most successful Speaker in modern time -- and that's why they hate her. Her political skills are masterful.

What is third rate -- or third grade, is a president that can't control his outbursts. Normal presidents never insult other officials in public, no matter how they feel. It's what we learn as a child -- that everything that comes to mind doesn't have to leave your mouth. As adults, we see this as tact.

There is something lacking in maturity when a president calls the Speaker "third rate," or an opponent "Little Marco," or "Sleepy Joe," etc. A screw is loose.

Really? Because it sure seems that every one of his foreign policy actions seem to benefit Putin. I'm not saying, necessarily, that he does it with the intention of aiding Putin but it ends up that way. It could just be that his incompetence and recklessness, distain for experts in their discipline, leads to actions that work against our interests and for Putin. Of course, I don't rule out he's doing Putin's bidding either. Either way, I don't see how this makes America great.

Apart from your view that his policies are for the people and not himself, I see the opposite. His tax-cuts lowered taxes drastically on the rich, like himself. There was even a provision that helped real estate developers specifically. I guess rich real estate developers were hurting. During the 2016 campaign, he said he wouldn't have any time to golf because he would be working so hard. Now, he has golfed three times as much as Obama, according to Trump Golf Count. Each time he visits his own properties, he gets to bill the American taxpayer.

McCarthy acts like a Klingon cruising around Trumpanus. At least Pelosi had the guts to speak to the press herself...not so much Trump. He had to send his toadies out to do his dirty work for him. Yellow bellied sap sucker.

Care to comment on the fact McCarthy said those Democrats who remained were able to participate in a productive meeting?

Pelosi is a stain on the history of the House.

Calling here a "third rate" or "third grade" politician which ever it was, was a compliment.

It ended up being a productive meeting? Was that before or after Trump sped out of the room? You know the guy is off the rails when he says, “I hate ISIS more than you do.” It sure didn't seem like he was concerned that ISIS prisoners escaped the other day.

But of course, his rude and undignified demeanor is Pelosi's fault, according to his cult.

All of this is Rush Limbaugh's and Sean Hannity's fault. They have conditioned the base so that a president could come in and act exactly the way that Donald Trump acts.

Hell, look at how many people on this very board applaud this kind of conduct. It's real easy to see who gobbles up a most Rush and Sean.

What's sad is that the President is a proven liar and because of that, nobody with a working brain takes him at his word anymore. He may be right. Maybe she did have a meltdown. But I can't trust the words of a confirmed and pathological liar.

Not to mention that when you see the picture he Tweeted, it actually didn't back up his claim. She looks like she's standing and making a forceful argument. He's leaning back in his looking defeated, and everyone on the same side of the table as he is has his head down and looks completely defeated.

That's the same Kevin McCarthy who said that Trump was on Putin's payroll.

Also the same Kevin McCarthy who was trapped on national TV during his 60 minutes interview, where he was defending Trump and didn't even know the contents of the conversation summary that he was defending.

I know, if you don't like the message, the messenger is the problem. If you think that the NYT was factually incorrect, when they reported that the WH didn't dispute the Dem's, find a source that says differently.

Instead, you parrot McCarthy, as if he is the bastion of truth.

This was all staged by Pelosi and Schumer. They come running out to the microphones with their fake outrage. Meanwhiled, other Democrats and republicans stayed. These two, especially Pelosi, make sick remark after remark about the President all day, but come running out of a meeting, by themselves, because it was too upsetting for them? What a joke. And if you believe them? Well, there's a sucker born every day.
