I think that we can all agree that video representations of any President shooting media, opponents or ex-Presidents is abhorrent. Even people like Putin won't stoop to this level.

A mocked-up video depicting US president Donald Trump stabbing and shooting his political opponents and the media has reportedly been shown at a meeting of the president’s supporters at his Miami resort.

The New York Times reported on Sunday that the video, which has since been posted on Twitter, shows a scene from Kingsman: The Secret Service, edited to appear as though Trump is stabbing and opening fire on people and news organisations in a church.

The targets include CNN, Politico, Black Lives Matter, the BBC, the Guardian, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, Hillary Clinton, the late senator John McCain, Bernie Sanders, Barack Obama and others inside the “Church of Fake News”.

Agreed. Saying that Putin is above this completely denies all of the horrendous things that Putin has done.

Trump is a ****ing monster though. He probably loves watching this.
 
The video appears to be created by TheGeekzTeam on YouTube, a pro-Trump channel that has a long history of creating video mashups in support of the 45th president. The video in question was posted to the channel in July 2018.

According to the Times, the video was shown last week at the American Priority conference at Doral Miami resort. Speakers at the event included Donald Trump Jr and former White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Charming.

Stupid video, corny and shows the violent murder of actual people, not just faceless "entities." I guess that's irrelevant, since the right wing things corporations are people.
 
This is disgusting but this is what we get from people that were raised in the era of violent video games. When Donald Trump is Captain America in a video and killing politicians and news people, that's a sign that our society is sick, but to play it at one of Trump's golf clubs, the Trump International Doral Golf Club -- where Trump wants to host the next G7 -- it's proof of something much more sinister at work here. The showing of this video to Trump's supporters and donors at the club sends a pretty clear warning to anyone that doesn't support Trump that their party will do anything, even incite violence against those who oppose him. It's a very dangerous game they're playing.

If Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden or Kamala Harris had shown a similar video at one of their rallies, only with Trump as the victim being punched, stabbed, choked and murdered, what would the reaction be from the GOP? Elizabeth Warren is being butchered by the right for her claim to Native heritage and for being a nursing mother and fired. A video in the vein of this but with Trump as the victim/target would have incited people on the right to take up weapons and start murdering anyone they ran across that opposes Trump.

I understand that Don Jr. and Sarah Huckabee were there when this video was shown. The religious right won't condemn inciting violence and murder but will raise their fists because women have the right to choose.

Is there any member here that's a Trump supporter than will dare to justify this?

You really want to go there after Crazy Maxie calls for confrontation in public? You really want to go there when wearing a MAGA hat gets Trump supporters attacked?

The video was shown on look in separate room, on a small tv. There's no evidence the people you mentioned saw it or even heard of it at the time.

Look, it's a terrible video and should not be a part of any partisan group meeting, no matter what side is holding an event. But to implicate everyone who was in the same zip code is just ridiculous.

And you know what? Every single Democrat spoke out vehemently against violence such as this. Where are YOUR voices when YOUR president, not only condones but encourages this violence? Where is YOUR outrage, where is YOUR condemnation. All your doing is finger pointing at some mentally sick man that shot Scalise and that man was not speaking on behalf of democrats, but this video being shown to donors right at Trump's golf resort is repulsive and so are those that do not condemn but condone this disgusting act.

It speaks volumes that a segment of Trump's support had the clout to show this at a Florida GOP event.

American Priority, a group that supports the president, hosted the conference at Trump National Doral Miami. Former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the president’s son Donald Trump Jr. and Florida Governor Rick DeSantis were all scheduled to speak at the event. But Huckabee Sanders and a source close to Trump Jr. denied either saw the video.

"... The paper (NYT) said Sanders and Trump Jr. both said they did not see the video. ..." which means it was not played at the conference.

But the liberal media is pretty good with implying ... "The video was shown during the conference" does not mean it was shown at the conference.
