Isis militants break out of prison in Syria after bombing by Turkey

What does your morality have to say about Trump's decision and its outcome?

It was a difficult decision, but it had to be made.
I can't entirely fault him for making decisions that cost hundreds, or maybe even thousands of lives. That's just how it is and if I were to judge him in a more harsh fashion. Then all presidents would have to face such judgment.

As I said in my last post. It's one of those choices that a president "Has" to make. They can't just kick this particular can down the road and if they do, it will just exponentially worse.

Why did it “have” to be made, and was it a positive outcome?

Why did it “have” to be made, and was it a positive outcome?

Because we've been wanting to bring our troops home for a long time now and it's been discussed for a long time now. Someone was going to have to make that decision eventually and there is no way of making a positive outcome out of this. What could we have done, stayed with the Kurds and thrown all we had into the war to help them fight?

More would join, more would die, lines would shift and no one would win, but many would die.

I've lost two friends and seen more than enough men come back damage to be okay with continuing this fight. At least not in the way that it's being done now.

We are not the worlds police force.

Our soldiers were not dying there until Turkey started firing on them after Trump agreed to withdraw our forces in order to allow Turkey to kill our allies. And even then, Trump has agreed to restation our troops in Saudi Arabia.

Which is why Trump just sent more troops to SA, right? Bull**** spin will just make you dizzy

Gran Mal, Grand Mal, Grand Mal, I hope you didn't hurt yourself when stressing over my opinion though I totally understand why you disregard the relevancy of my stated point.

Perhaps yoga would help you to relax with the cranial thought control impulses? ;)

So this is what Jay-Z meant when he said: Skipping leg day just to run your mouth.

A classic:

Keep running.

Oh the phony outrage.

Where was your outrage when Obama prematurely pulled out of Iraq, allowing ISIL to run rampant to grow like a malignant tumor?

Now go ahead and pretend that you liked Obama's foreign policy....

Is that your way of calling Benedict Trump feckless, the way you did Obama? Also Iraq wanted us out, kinda different, so there's that.

There was a logic to the stupidity of George W. Bush's decision to invade Iraq. It was for a bad reason, but at least he gave a reason. Here there's just...nothing. No sense, no reason. Just impulsive, meaningless stupidity.

I think it was his "Wag the Dog" move.

The fact something that egregious didn't distract the public narrative suggests that Trump is in a world of political hurt. Meanwhile, the move was not only stupid in the grand scheme of things, it was stupid politically, as it well illustrated to Republicans just how dangerous an impulsive Trump can be. Not something you want to put in the back of the mind of even a single Republican senator, since it is going to take a unified Republican front to keep him in the Presidency. Putting a fissure in that wall was well.... stupid.

Love the avatar.

If all of them were going to be going, I would have more to say on the matter. Aside from the fact that we just don't need our people simple sitting in a conflict with no set goals, or even a means to meet them.

Not all of those troops are going to SA. But at least those troops will have a definitive objective.

Or Erdogan threatened the Trump Tower Istanbul. Trump has a lot of financial interests in Turkey that could be wiped out.

And GWB was listening to his advisers...they gave him bad direction, but he didn't make the call on his own

Would anyone (outside of his supporters of course) be surprised if Trump was profiting on the side?

Got to love this false morality that we keep seeing on the left.

Says a poster that supports a POTUS who publicly defends Neo Nazis and the KKK. Just because you and your friends do this, doesn't mean everyone else does as well.

And the false morality on the right? You guys were screaming at the top of your lungs about ISIS...why all the silence now?

Because Trump told them he was going to protect them from the Boogieman.

ISIS prisoners are escaping because of Donald Trump. Military authorities are also saying that Turkey is deliberately targeting our forces in order to drive them from the region. Trump is objectively making the region more chaotic and the world less safe.

And for what?

Pentagon says US forces came under Turkish artillery fire in Syria | WREG.com

Your source says their sources are divided on whether, or not the Turks intentionally fired upon U.S. troops. Let's not start out being dishonest about what your own source says.

Our troops weren't "targetted" since the fire impacted "several hundred meters" from their position.

The staggering false equivalence of your post aside, are you saying that you approved of Obama's decision or that you didn't?

You hailed Obama as a god when he pulled out of Iraq. He enabled ISIS to expand the way it dif. If not for his decision to cut-n-run, there wouldn't be any ISIS fighterd operating in northern Syria.

No, I didn't approve of his decision and if you actually read what I write, in retrospect, I said yesterday or the day before that I don't approve of Trump leaving the kurds high and dry either.

And no, there was no false equivalency on my part. I bet you were all for Obama pulling completely out of Iraq.

Bingo!

But as usual, the Oh Trump hypocrisy astounds.

What the hell is a 'cranial thought control impulse'? Sounds like a random string of words.
But as I said, it's considered 'de rigueur' to wait a few pages before you try to hijack someone's thread.

Where's the hijack?
Clearly, you must be reading a different thread.

So, you are back on board with Trump on this one? Did not take long.

You have a hard enough time expressing your own thoughts, don't attempt to speak for me because you couldn't be further from the truth.
