Turkey Begins Syria Attack, Targeting Militia Backed by U.S.

Re: Turkey begins military offensive in Syria, days after Trump announced pullback of US troops

Calamity had already started a nice thread on that subject. Maybe you want to merge yours with that one?

Mine was first

Re: Turkey launches offensive against Kurdish fighters in Syria

That was a response? All I heard were insults. There must not be any coherent way to rebut what I said. That does not surprise me.
Actually if you had the capacity to read beyond your own hatred you would have known what you were responding to and wouldnt have gone out of your way to make yourself look stupid. You didnt, didnt, and then did.

That huge sucking sound you hear is the sound of the Trump presidency going down the toilet.

Innocent civilians have already died, and this is all you can think about? :(

More threats and insults. How refreshing. Do you have anything to contribute or not? It appears not.

Trump is directly responsible for all the casualties that result from his withdrawal of American peacekeepers from Syria. You do understand that right? There will be hundreds of Christians killed too. Trump has hotels in Turkey that are more important than innocent lives. Deal with it.

Re: Turkey launches offensive against Kurdish fighters in Syria

And you are privy to Trump's private thoughts as to what he has planned for Turkey?

If so, you should get a trademark and try to sell it to the gullible on QVC network.

Most of trumps thoughts come out of his thumbs while sitting on the golden throne through twitter. He's of course been very silent on this so far.

You understand that I was responding directly to the pathetic and petty partisan one-liner OP, right?

Do you agree that Trump's withdrawal of peacekeepers make him personally responsible for the killing of innocent civilians that result from Turkeys invasion of Syria? Our presence was preventing it and Trump even admits that.

There was actually a pretty substantive comment that you just ignored when you went into your "Orange Man Bad" routine, so your bull**** about having nothing to contribute rings rather hollow, now doesnt it?

Re: Turkey launches offensive against Kurdish fighters in Syria

I guess attacking the Kurds is not out of line according to someone's "great and unmatched wisdom."

I feel so horrible for those people left on their own for the wolves to devour then there's the little fact that there's about 10,000 ISIS hardened fighters that have been imprisoned there in Syria who will be free to re-emerge as a strengthened and viable threat worldwide. What a ****ing bloody bad mistake Trump has made here. Understanding that he's a Russian asset makes a whole lot of sense.

Notice everyone has forgotten all about the Mueller investigation and the fact that Trump is defying congress?

If those imprisoned ISIS fighters are still there imprisoned, I'm pretty sure Assad will kill all of them with Russian support and bury them in Mass graves just down the road from the impending Kurdish mass graves.

That huge sucking sound you hear is the sound of the Trump presidency going down the toilet.

Only Trump would facilitate the mass slaughter of our allies. Quite a feather in his cap.

I think massive betrayal of allies is worth more than one thread.

And many of the cult members are cheering him on still.....

Yeah ... like about 5 or 6 ... :lamo

Re: Turkey launches offensive against Kurdish fighters in Syria

Just out of curiosity...if 'the world' is so concerned about this...where the **** are they at? Why arent they rushing to defend the Kurds? Where is the EU? Where is Canada? (Im sorry...that was a joke...couldnt help myself). Where are all these concerned government entities?

For decades we provided support for the Turkish government fighting the Kurds who had the bad fortune to support a free Kurdistan while residing within Turkeys borders and no leftists seemed very upset about that. Why is that?

As Erdogan announced his plans to go into Syria and as the idiot left wring their hands about our failure to counter their initiative (did they expect those 1000 troops without real combat support to be a sacrificial trip wire? Did they expect a buildup? A declaration of war?) did they give any thought to the fate of the 6000 US Servicemen and women and their families currently stationed at Incirlik or the long term fate of one of our most strategic bases in the middle east?

Did any of you?

The 1000 service members stationed there held back Syrian aggression by their presence. Syria would never invade an area protected by the US. They know better, and so do you. This is a pure bull**** post.

I think Trump has no idea what a Kurd is. He probably thinks it's one of those cheese thingys.

Well it should have never been said in the first place- so that's on Obama.

You would have preferred American fighters do the dying instead? Somebody had to do the heavy lifting. The Kurds did it. They defeated ISIS and this is their reward.

You want to Blame Obama for trump selling them out to die?

Re: Turkey launches offensive against Kurdish fighters in Syria

At this point, and after rethinking the fate of the Kurds, I'd rather Trump rethink his strategy and drop the hammer on Turkish forces both militarily and economically.

Ain't gonna happen, sweety. Trump in no way considers the Kurds "our people". He was talking about Americans that might be caught in the crossfire. His betrayal goes forward.

I was wrong; it's not 5 or 6 ... there are about 20 threads on DP discussing exclusively the "massive betrayal of allies" ... :lamo

Re: Turkey launches offensive against Kurdish fighters in Syria

That wouldn't be very bright for Turkey to look to Russia for support, would it?
I'm glad you agree.

I'll say this for Putin. He doesn't abandon his allies. Unlike Trump.

I suggest an industrial strength mouthwash because your breath is rancid from all the crap you ate.

Have you notice the concern exhibited by the right wing posters on this thread? I haven't, aside from you. You're on the wrong side on this one Nota. Read Barnicle, PoS, and Vance. Their posts are callous and sickening.
