GOP donors are reportedly encouraging Mitt Romney to primary Trump

I believe most level headed Republicans wanted Kasich in the 2016 primaries. They got swamped by the uneducated adorables at the polls. Its a shame, they passed on a real Conservative for a man child.

If Kasich had won the nomination, I would still be a Republican today. But because the idiots selected Trump, they lost me and a whole lot of other faithful supporters - and they will never get us back.

I'm a big Kasich fan.

I would have voted for Kasich over Hilldog. But could not bring myself to vote for Rump, to many personality defects to be an effective leader. I been following politics since 1976, I have never seen a President so divide the country.

My only beef with Kasich is his stance on medical cannabis. Its a no go for him, a prehistoric view not based on science but on emotions. Kasich is an honest man, and humble, so I may have forgiven him for his backward view on the plants medical benefits.

Republican primary voters are not "the American people". If you don't win a primary that does not mean you were rejected by "the American people". If you don't win an election where the American people all have a vote, then you can say you were rejected by the American people.

Oh well, you'll continue to think semantically instead of logically. I can't do anything for you. It's hopeless. Have a nice day.

Kasich is the only Republican candidate in 2016 I'd consider voting for. Trump? No way, of course.

Another Republican who never accepted to run, Colin Powell, would get my vote against pretty much any Democrat. He is a true statesman. It's so sad that he never wanted to run! He made one mistake in his career, the Iraq War, but then, most of us made the same mistake at the time. Otherwise, I pretty much agree with everything that Colin Powell says.

It's amazing that the two main parties in America (and their primary electors) picked their candidates so poorly in 2016.

It's like the worst possible Democrat running against the worst possible Republican.
