Because he wanted to grease the skids for the Barr and Durham investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia thing. It all started when Papadopoulos told the former Australian foreign affairs minister that he had information that Russia had obtained damaging emails from Hillary Clinton.

I am fairly neutral on this one. Barr told us he would be investigating this, and that appears to be what he is doing. I think it's a waste of time and tax payer dollars, and really, he should not be so personally involved, but I think the FBI and CIA are going to have problems with it. He really should be careful about pissing the IC community off.

One thing now is likely certain: no world leader is going to take a call from Trump in the near future.

When I read the NYT piece I laughed out loud.

All the pieces of the puzzle are coming together before our eyes and it shows John Durham investigating the corruption of our intel community under Obama is hot on the trail.

Right now it is being reported that Durham is currently in Italy. That has to have several spooks ready to **** their pants. Mifsud is the name CIA is his game. Do you know that just shortly after Bill Barr announced that he was appointing John Durham to investigate how the Russian collusion crap got started the elected leader of Italy fired a number of his directors of intelligence. Coincidence? Mifsud, Mifsud, Mifsud.....another CIA operative that hid among "professors".

That brings me to the latest NYT piece about a call to the Aussie PM. Last week Trump held an extravagant State dinner for the PM of Australia Heck I have no doubt PM Morrison delivered the goods on Downer the Aussie that is a huge supporter of Clinton and part of this saga.

The DOJ put out a statement that they have yet to speak to the government of Ukraine about their involvement in the 2016 election. Yet they also stated that Durham had interviewed non government officials who have come forth and is weighing their testimony. Then yesterday we got word from the new Ukrainian president that they have reopened the investigation into corruption of the firm Hunter Biden set on the board of.

Brennan and his spooks are wearing Depends at this point.
