Republicans want whistleblower's sources, as inconsistencies in complaint emerge

Only to those who already hate the Obama administration. Everyone else saw that video for exactly what it was, saw VP Biden threatening to withhold aid to Ukraine as what it was, an international agreement that the Prosecutor General, Shokin, was corrupt and impeding investigations, so he needed to be fired.

Did the new prosecutor restart the probe into Burisma Holdings ? No, firing Shokin effectively ended the corruption probe.

And why would Burisma Holdings send their legal team to meet with Ukrainian officials to offer "an apology for dissemination of false information by U.S. representatives and public figures"

Replace Joe Biden with Trump and Hunter Biden with Don Jr, and it would be the worst scandal in US history. The Democrats would begin impeachment hearings immediately and the MSM would cover it 24/7

To get a corrupt prosecutor fired, one internationally condemned as being corrupt. His own people held protests over him not being fired for being so corrupt.

If you are arguing that Biden was wrong for "pressuring Ukraine", is the argument then that Trump cannot be charged for "pressure"?

What's funny is this premise of this whole charade is that Trump pressured Ukraine to dig up dirt on Biden.

A few days ago no one had seen that video of Biden bragging about leveraging US aid to get a Ukrainian prosecutor fired and no one would have seen it if it wasn't for the this ridiculous partisan stunt pulled by the Democrats.
That video is almost a year old, but now everyone's seen it

The Democrats did far more damage to Biden with their nonsense than Trump, and they know it. They did this to themselves. Couldn't have happened to a nicer group of people.

But this is the whole point, Trump did solicit the Ukrainian leader to dig up dirt on a political opponent, a violation of federal law. He admitted to it, so did Guliani.

There is not an equivalent charge on Biden, in fact, I already explained, Joe's actions made Hunter more vulnerable to prosecution.

You have not shown what the crime is that Biden committed nor how it is relevant now.

Not how it happened. Britian brought corruption up in relation to Shokin not only not investigating Burisma in the Ukraine but also impeding their investigation.

That is about fighting corruption, something supported by practically every country and news source at that time, including the Ukraine. The Ukraine people protested his being corrupt, calling for him to be fired.

He wasn't investigating it at all, that was part of the reason he was fired. Not all investigation lead to charges.

Joe's action's did no such thing. Hunter was only vulnerable to prosecution when there was an active investigation into Burisma Holdings.

Joe Biden's threat to withhold US aid made Hunter less vulnerable because it stopped the investigation. The case against Burisma Holdings was closed and charges against the owner dismissed.

Well the FACT remains that the GOP House never considered starting an inquiry into impeachment of Biden since there was no there there. There was near universal approval for the removal of Shokin....which made Hunter MORE vulnerable.

Now, today, GOP Senators are "exploring" reopening an investigation of Biden....lettuce know how that werks out.
