Cue the Subpoenas from the House
Barr, Rudy looselips along with a number of others

I don't care who you support, this is bad. Really bad. How many other illicit deals are hidden in protection systems they aren't supposed to be in?

Holy **** this is bad.

Given where we are and the contents of that whistleblower complaint, I do not see how Trump escapes this one.

If that's all that's there...good luck.

There's far more. The complaint details other illicit use of security systems to lock down conversations with other leaders, and with a president who actively admitted he would take foreign aid to win -this is done.

He's ****ed himself.

So no firsthand account and all hearsay by a highly biased source.

Nonsense. The complaint was SPOT on with the transcript. Let's see all the other hidden transcripts Trump has illicitly sealed in archives not meant to protect him from himself.

Does it feel good to cozy up this close to blatant, in your face corruption?

Does it?

Liberal hysteria really doesn't move the needle much.

Again, no qui pro quo and no first hand account by the whistleblower. Not really sure what some think is there unless they're a hyper partisan weenie.

Well that is the point of the impeachment process, to gather facts from witnesses. It is worth pursuing... what would you like the House to do? Ignore it and look the other way?

I skimmed over that section, I will admit, but it's my understanding that the President's conversations with other leaders, are pretty much protected, private etc....so locking them down means....nothing....

It seems that out of all the converstaions he's had with other leaders, only one has been of concern to the whistleblower, or people who have told him about that one etc? Is that correct?

Hmm... has the thought of a nearly party line vote in the Senate (as happened with the Bill Clinton impeachment) not occured to you?

Impeachment inquiry spearheaded by Pelosi before the phone call transcript, before the DNI testifies, before Barr testifies before the "whistleblower" transcript is released and before the "whistleblower' testifies as to his HEARSAY.
Democrats have burned any chance of taking this back. They are barreling headlong into an election on the ash heap of their failures, having done NOTHING for the American people.

They might as well run Honey Boo Boo in 2020, because they've sucked ALL the oxygen out of the room for their Democrat candidates.

Yawwn. Keep clinging to that defense. This is bad, and if it were a democrat, you'd be howling at the moon. So please, spare us. We don't need to see your continued meltdown.

Guess what?

Honest presidents don't have to hide records because honest presidents don't do things that incriminate them.

The cult is doing everything they can to distract, gaslight and muddy the waters, because they are scared, and because to them, protecting cult leader is more important than this nation's interests.

Of course it has, but I doubt that is what happens in the House.

More importantly this becomes a new political litmus test for Republicans in Congress, are they willing to support a President who tried to benefit politically by applying pressure to a foreign nation for an investigation into a rival and also try to cover up the conversation breaking several protocols?

Subjective and conjecture.

lolol

I'm not the political hack getting my panties all in a bunch over the 3rd hand account of some weenie liberal.

This "locking down" of the conversation was to place it on a separate server from where they are usually stored.

As I said in the other thread:

The Whistleblower Complaint has been released: 404 - File or directory not found.

Reading the complaint, it is incredibly clear the President is absolutely corrupt. The fact White House officials placed the call transcript between Trump and Zelensky in the super secret database, in violation of established protocols, shows the White House KNEW what happened was wrong.

The President is betraying our country. His campaign was proven to have worked with Russia (and other countries) to win the 2016 election, he has obstructed justice, he is an unindicted co-conspirator for a crime Trump's personal attorney is currently in jail for and now we have explicit proof (not evidence, proof) of Trump trying to leverage US policy against Ukraine for his personal benefit by trying to create a scandal (which has repeatedly been debunked) against his very likely 2020 presidential election rival.

Why Republicans still support him, I do not understand. They could toss him to the curb, nominate Pence for President and probably win. Their insistence on backing Trump is true cowardice.
I'm not the political hack
LOL

Ok.

Hmm... has the thought of a nearly party line vote in the Senate (as happened with the Bill Clinton impeachment) not occured to you?

Of course it has occurred.

But this is so much worse than someone lying to cover up sexual indiscretion.

If this isn't enough to make the GOP lose their lockstep support of Trump, then let that be recorded in history and emblazoned in every campaign ad for the next decade.

They don't care. The guy could literally shoot someone in times square and their response would be "And"?

This "locking down" of the conversation was to place it on a separate server from where they are usually stored.

And? Is there a law saying that's not permissible?
