Trump’s communications with foreign leader are part of whistleblower complaint that spurred standoff between spy chief and Congress, former officials say

The whistleblower complaint that has triggered a tense showdown between the U.S. intelligence community and Congress involves President Trump’s communications with a foreign leader, according to two former U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

Trump’s interaction with the foreign leader included a “promise” that was regarded as so troubling that it prompted an official in the U.S. intelligence community to file a formal whistleblower complaint with the inspector general for the intelligence community, said the officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

The speculation is that trump promised Putin something about the spy we just heard about that had to be extracted from Russia.

There is also speculation of it being about it being a promise of removing money that helped Europe push back on Russia's incursion into Ukraine.

Now there is executive obstruction... yet again... this time to break the law that this whistleblower's claim be handed over to congress within 7 days.

"Corruption in the flesh" indeed.

Well, that's as clear as mud. Maybe the President promised $150 billion, delivered under cover of night, in exchange for... uhh... nothing. Are you sure they are talking about the right President?

Trump as President has been the worst thing to ever happen to Putin. Because of Obama and Hillary Russia controls 20% of US uranium. So who did Putin want to become President?

Ask the whistleblower.

we have intelligent agencies listening in on Trump/Putin phone calls and wanting to blow the whistle?

Why is it you are pretending to know who the whistle blower is and their position?

OMG!!! That explains...nothing!

But that's the best kind of breaking news, isn't it? News that says nothing but lets everyone go crazy with unsupported speculation and blindly accepted conclusions.

Why is it you are pretending to know who the whistle blower is and their position?

who else would be able to listen to Trump/Putin phone call?

That statement is the definition of fake news, why don't you refresh your memory on that story and try again.

who else would be able to listen to Trump/Putin phone call?

The other people in the room when your idiot messiah said it?

Oh, okay. What's their name, email, cell phone, etc...?

Well congress would have that if this administration followed the law of turning it over within 7 days and didn't thwart congress from receiving the accusation from the whistleblower. So I guess you need to ask your criminal messiah.

This might just blow your mind but...Trump does not speak Russian and Putin does not speak English so there is another American involved in such calls...

Oh, okay. What's their name, email, cell phone, etc...?

4-page Barr would be covering that up also. Barr will end up making John Mitchell look like a saint.

How do T-publicans feel about supporting a traitor that is selling out this Nation to Ru$$ia, one day at a time?

Yes, the left likes to throw mud against the wall, with no evidence, and then go on as if it proves something.

Something something Obama.
Something something Hillary.

Nothing, nothing, Russia, Trump, nothing, nothing, impeach, nothing.

Lol, that's cute. You think you understand the Uranium One deal. Let me ask you two important pieces of trivia about it.

How many tons of uranium does the USA produce each year? How many tons of uranium does Uranium One produce each year?

You can find the answers to both those questions, on this page.

And yet another Nothing Bombshell.

:boom

Well, the president does have the job of conducting foreign policy and that seems to be what this complaint is about. Maybe there's more to it and, if so, we'll be sure to find out but based on what's out there now, this isn't much of anything. If someone is complaining that the president is doing something he's fully entitled to do I don't see why that would get "whistleblower" status.

No, I'm serious, how much money did the United States deliver to Iran under cover of night?
