Also the whole conspiracy to commit money laundering thing that Cohen is in jail for now.
The case is closed. There was no violation of the law by Trump.

It would seem apparent that the issue is prosecuting McCabe for lying under oath and the outrage that is causing in some quarters.

Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator in that case and the case can and will be reopened the moment Trump is voted out of office in the next election.

What it said was that the bias existed, and they made some strange decisions because of it.
But, it did indeed say those decisions can be justified in the course of an investigation, and he wasn't going to 2nd guess them.

Flynn and Stone will go free and McCabe and Comey will face charges imo....what happens at trial who knows....but attorneys will be paid. weight of the Feds can prove daunting...deals will be offered in exchange for bigger fish...the way the system works.

The potential charges relate to DOJ inspector general findings against him regarding misleading statements concerning a Hillary Clinton-related investigation.

A source close to McCabe’s legal team said they received an email from the Department of Justice which said, "The Department rejected your appeal of the United States Attorney’s Office’s decision in this matter. Any further inquiries should be directed to the United States Attorney’s Office."

And so it begins. The criminal charges are starting. Heads will roll. CNN looks pretty stupid for hiring him. McCabe should negotiate a plea deal and give evidence on Comey etc.
Quite some time ago McCabe said he was going to take people down with him. So we shall see. There are a whole buttload of other charges floating around looking for a place to land before this inquiry is completed.

I think the CNN deal was the hight of arrogance That may have forced DoJ’s hand. Oh well, one more log on the fire!

We don't know whether or not there is a sealed indictment with Trump's name on it. That was prosecutor's best move, as they can't charge a sitting president, and if he got re-elected the statute of limitations would run out, but a sealed indictment stops the toll on the statute of limitations.
