The OP isn't concerned at all about the President being friends with a known pedophile. He conveniently wants to ignore that so he can start a really ignorant thread about a politician taking donations from one of his constituents who nobody knew was a pedophile. Sorry you don't understand that.

Except he didn’t ignore it. He just didn’t make it the central point in a thread about Schumer accepting small campaign donations from Epstein more than 25 years ago.

I don't wonder. I don't care what he did. If he committed a crime, Barr will find out because one of the victims will come forward. To this date I never heard a single woman accuse Bill Clinton of improper acts with her on Epstein's island when she was underage. Have you?

How "briefly" were they friends? According to Trump, he was friends with the "terrific guy" who was "a lot of fun to be with", and who "It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do (Trump), and many of them are on the younger side". But you seem to know something different, so please share.

The donations were when Schumer was a member of the House of Representatives from NYC. Epstein lived in NYC. He was supporting his congressman.

So? His campaign got $7,000 over six years. Do you really think Schumer even was aware of the donations or the source? Campaigns get millions in donations and thousands of checks. I've worked on such campaigns and checks come in and the name, amount and occupation are entered into a computer. I doubt the candidate ever sees more than a summary.

This is a prime example of trying to start a fire with wet matches.

Why? Because they aren't in the same boat. As JasperL wrote in post #3, "the last one [donation was] years before Epstein was convicted of being a sexual predator of underage girls." {Emphases added} So, what wrongdoing are you suggesting Schumer is guilty of committing, failing to know something yet to be uncovered?

I just don't get it. Schumer is a POS for associating with Epstein, but Trump isn't. Obama is a POS for detaining and separating migrant families, but Trump isn't. We could go on and on, but the hypocrisy and lack of consistency are pathetic.

Except there is no evidence that Schumer associated with Epstein at all. Trump did. His loyal and drooling fan base likes to forget that.

Trump was the one who associated with a child molester. Unless you have some evidence that Schumer was associating with him in 1997? Like some interviews where Schumer said he was a terrific guy who he's known for 15 years, and who likes his girls young? How about some video of Schumer and Epstein shaking their booties on the dance floor of Schumer's mansion, looking at all of the nubile young women dancing with them? I'll await your links to back up your claim that Schumer associated with Epstein.

Getting thousands of dollars from people doesn't make you cozy with them.

You have to have done it to understand. That's not a "large" sum of money.

Hanging out at parties with them? That's a different story.

Apparently you didn't understand the first time. So I'll ask again.

Post some evidence that Schumer associated with Epstein. Post some evidence that Schumer was "cozy" with Epstein. Or else admit you are lying.

Trump, yes, we have evidence that he associated with Epstein and that he was cozy with him. We even have it on film. And his admission that he knew that Epstein liked his girls young. You want Trump to resign.
