House Democrats probe use of taxpayer money at Trump hotels

House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Elijah Cummings, D-Md., said that his panel "does not believe that U.S. taxpayer funds should be used to personally enrich President Trump, his family, and his companies."

"We have been focused on the Mueller report and that is a very small part of the overall picture," said Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin, a member of the Judiciary panel. "We must get America focused on the ongoing violations against basic Constitutional principles."

In addition to looking at Trump’s use of his properties, two House committees are continuing to investigate his relationship with banks with which he did business. And the Judiciary panel is also expected to investigate hush money payments that Trump paid to kill potentially embarrassing stories.

Trump continues to be dogged by investigations. But, nothing seems to stick. Teflon Trump?

If by "nothing seems to stick" you mean, Trump's action have no political consequences, then you're wrong. Republicans paid a steep price for Trump's debauchery last midterm, when they should have only had mild losses with the way the economy was/is going at the time.

OTOH, there is nothing that will push that 40% that adores him to ever let go, no matter how badly corrupt he becomes, and how badly he performs.

That's coming down quite a bit from treason/Russian collusion.

If I don't answer your post it's because you lost the debate.

I honestly don't care what Cummings thinks. his opinion is irrelevent vs what the law says.
So please show us where the president is not allowed to stay at any hotel that he wants?

Also please include that any trip or stay was not approved by the ethics committee prior to going.

Making up non-existent laws could get Cummings in trouble.

What will they do if he is sentenced to prison time?

Yes, it is. They sure are persistent, though.

Listen, I know it's vast, but can you please step outside of your ignorance for just a little bit? Please?

Pence went to Ireland and spent taxpayer money staying at Trumps hotel, across an entire ****ing country from the place he was visiting.

Oh well then, that'll make up for all the money Trump spent on the campaign trail to become President

Trump spent 66 million on his campaign and he's already spent more than 100 million golfing at his own resorts during his presidency.

    This is for you:
