    Same with my Dad, diagnosed, gone in six weeks. A few month for my Mom, with pancreatic cancer. Both had smoked most of their lives, and quit about 10 years before the cancer. I just figure the quitting bought them a few years of life.

    From what I hear, the big problem with pancreatic cancer is that it is hard to detect, and often is to far along when they finally do find it.

    exactly ,those who beat it are those who have doctors looking for something else when they find it. Usually with a contrast dye test or a MRI
