And the race thins...

Gov. Jay Inslee, Who Ran On Climate Change, Withdraws From Presidential Race

Democratic presidential candidate Jay Inslee announced Wednesday that he is withdrawing from the race.

"It's become clear that I'm not going be carrying the ball, I'm not going to be the president, so I'm withdrawing tonight from the race," the Washington governor said on MSNBC's The Rachel Maddow Show.

Inslee would be excellent at EPA if he wasn’t up for re-election as governor in Washington.

Where are the DNC ads nationwide attacking what the gop has done to the entire environment, let alone what SStephen Miller has done with immigration?

Where are the ads attacking mcconnell for what he hasn’t done on gun slaughters, health care, and election security?

Instead of Democrats continuing to be Puritans on any of their candidates, top to bottom, maybe they should focus on the real enemy to the future of this Nation.

I'll just repeat what I said on the other thread about this topic:

He got what he wanted; national exposure for him to support a cause that's near and dear to him. He's been all over cable news, telling millions of people each time why he feels that climate change is indeed the "most urgent challenge of our time". Kudos to him for walking the walk and talking the talk. I, for one, will remember his name now; so will others!

There's no advertisement like running for President on a specific issue. When I first saw Inslee's platform, I was hyped that the man was going to be drawing more attention to this issue.

You mean he was serious?

Teddy Roosevelt would certainly be serious about running against trump and EPA wheeler for what they’re doing to our air, water, and soil.

You mean he was serious?
About the climate change issue?

I have little doubt he was serious about that.

If you meant running for president, he might have just been using it as a platform to spread the climate change message.

Yeah.... he put all his money on climate change and then found very quickly that even the Democratic Party doesn't seem to care too much about the subject (hell, he couldn't even convince them to make one of the debates about climate change).

He’s nothing but an empty suit. Almost no one noticed him when he was running, and fewer will notice that he’s dropped out. The guy is nothing but a big zero.

How long did it take for him to figure this out? I'm not going to be president? :doh
