Proud Boys members found guilty of assault in brawl with Antifa - CNN :thumbs:

Two members of the Proud Boys have been convicted on multiple charges for assaulting members of Antifa during a fight last year.

A Manhattan jury convicted Maxwell Hare, 27, and John Kinsman, 39, on Monday, Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. announced in a news release.

Both are members of the Proud Boys, a far-right extremist organization that has been designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Hare and Kinsman were convicted of attempted gang assault in the first degree; attempted assault in the first, second and third degrees; and riot in the second degree for their part in an October 2018 brawl with members of Antifa, a left-wing anti-fascist group, the district attorney's office said.

I hope that those two thugs are given a massive amount of time to think about what they've done. :)

The Justice Department should step in at this point. This was a politically motivated prosecution.
 
Well I do hope that they are policing and prosecuting Antifa too. Anyone who is starting fights and assaulting folk on the street need to be punished. The Lost Boys...er Proud Boys here got what was coming to them, probably ain't gonna see a stiff enough punishment for their America hating ways. But both sides need to be swiftly and appropriately punished.

A small paragraph near the bottom of the article says that eight others were arrested and seven of them have been convicted and sentenced. But it doesn’t say who they were, which group they were affiliated with, or what their convictions and sentences were. So it’s probably a reference to Antifa.

Well hopefully they got all those involved and prosecuted them all appropriately. This **** has got to stop.

Right. You come to a rally with helmets, face masks, and weapons it is clear that you aren't there to pick up trash off the street. Damn, some of you people are so freaking naïve.

Go do something good for your community. Pick up some trash.
