13 arrested, 4 injured at Portland right wing rally: Police

The tweet of the day goes to

“Proud boys!” continues to sound like what you’d caption a picture of twins who just slept through the night without wetting themselves.

is walking down the street now a violent crime if you don't do it for from leftist fascist cause?

No. But walking down the streets wearing armor says what your intentions are.

Tell me these guys came for peace.

None of them are wearing a “Not today Antifi” t-shirt. Guess that t-shirt wasn’t as prevalent as you suggested it was.

Apparently yes. Right leaning rally goers are usually peaceful and law abiding on a large majority.

The big issue here is when Antifa showed up, and attempted to assault rally participants, innocent bystanders, and just generally destroy crap.

Antifa? Fascists?
Expain.
He doesn't even know the basic dictionary definition of fascism.

Explained. Boom.

Sent from the Matrioshka in the WH Christmas tree.

I am a proud bow actually, as of 2017.

So do you mind showing me where it can be found in any of their information, that encouraging political violence, is actually their mission?

How exciting for you! Did RevHH recruit you? Or did you just show up at their website and volunteer?

The big issue is those big guys.

And that's why you were wrong.

Only if they actually are anarchists, which they aren't. Much too organized. It's a story that has been put out to hide what they really are, just like the name.

Antifa? Fascists?
Expain.

easy they shout down the freedom of others.
they loot attack and threaten people for voicing opinions that
are different than theirs.

They do not believe in free speech or other freedoms unless it is theirs.
They oppose any and all opposition to them with threat of force and use of force.

that pretty much is fascism to a tee.
fascism by definition.

dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and of the economy.

while they do not have dictatorial power they are using other methods to accomplish the same goals.

Actually if you'd like to know, I met Mcinnes at a rally early in 2017 and learned about the group after that. Joined in late November.

A 'proud bow.' :lamo

Lollipops and proud bows and kittens with whiskers...

They can't help that they're larger people. Does that mean you'd ban them from public speaking, or appearing at rallies. Simply because of their physical characteristics?

Though I do feel sorry for anyone that just comes up and attacks them without provocation.

Meh, i was highly critical of the actions at Berkely, but Charlottesville certainly changed my mind.

Not the same groups; Berkeley group... almost all west coast groups... are just plain anarchists; like to make trouble, attack any government entity available because, duh, "yay anarchy!" They don't really "stand" for anything.

The ones in Charlottesville are actually, duh, anti-nazi, anti-white supremacist, anti-fascists, and what I saw was them place themselves between the tiki torches and the civilian counter protesters, preventing the nazi/Jew-hating scum from attacking those civilians.

No. But walking down the streets wearing armor says what your intentions are.

no it doesn't.
so show me where they are inviting a fight or violence by walking down the street?
in peaceful marching?

I don't blame them antifa is known for throwing things at people.
they would rather it hit armor than themselves.

Looks like they were hoping for something.

So long as they don't start fights and begin destroying property. They can all walk around in floral skirts for all I care.

They are not breaking the law.

yet the attacks only happened when Antifa showed up, and they were even attacking innocent bystanders. As well as any journalist that they could get their hands on.

That's all well and dandy...but they weren't at this protest.
Well, it's not like they have an official member membership badge. I saw plenty of people in black wearing masks. How do you know that they aren't antifa?

Then we saw entirely differently filmed coverage... and the courts apparently saw what I saw, because no one from "Antifa" was even arrested, let alone charged.

If you believe The Proud Boys is only a "frat club of beer-swilling misogynists", you have been willfully duped. Personally, I think you know exactly what it is; your choice, but you will eventually face judgment for the company you choose, and the beliefs you espouse. Trump will not always be in the WH giving aid and comfort to the neo-nazis and David Dukes of the world.

I was going off what another poster said...but apparently, they were there.

That they are smart to know they need to protect themselves from the violence of Antifa. Right?
