Love and a.45 was my favorite movie he played in

RIP Peter Fonda.

He was an icon for a generation. His passing only reminds me of my own mortality.

Myself and maybe about a third of the males in my class back in 1969 wanted to be Peter Fonda so bad.
Yeah, we were in 7th grade :lamo
I even got the black leather jacket.

Still couldn't quite straddle a Harley. :doh
I think one kid we all knew had a 250cc bike that he tried to make into a chopper.
Didn't matter, I guess we all lived vicariously that summer.
Easy Rider, men walking on the Moon, Woodstock, was there anything cooler than being a teenybopper in the Summer of 1969? :peace

I agree but there sure were a lot of boys a little older than us coming back in coffins that year from Vietnam. :boohoo:

I'm sorry to see him go.

One of my favorite jokes is the Peter Fonda workout, but I won't share it, it's too soon...

Loved his movies...

Yes, the not so cool thing about 1969, and the even less cool thing was how too many people were treating the ones who did come back alive.
Much respect to both our fallen heroes and our Vietnam vets.

Sorry to hear that; he was a heart-throb in his day. R.I.P.

RIP. My dad was really into Easy Rider, so we ended up watching it whenever it was on TV.
