FBI arrests Ohio teen for online threats and finds 25 firearms, 10,000 rounds of ammo
The FBI arrested an 18-year-old from Ohio for making online threats — including against the federal government and Planned Parenthood — and found a large cache of weapons, authorities said.

When agents raided the Boardman, Ohio, house where Justin Olsen was living they recovered 15 rifles, 10 semi-automatic pistols and roughly 10,000 rounds of ammunition, according to a criminal complaint written by FBI Special Agent Themistocles Tsarnas and seen by NBC News.
I’m glad Johnny Law stepped in and got this little ****er before he could do any damage and hurt any people with his arsenal.

But, but, little Justin's semi-auto arsenal was for game hunting! /s

This poor young white, American, god fearing, Christian male is being harassed by Liberal anti-murica’ gun grabbers...

I wonder how many of them were this kids verse those of his father. Was the gun vault in the kids room ot his fathers. The article was written in a way to purposefully muddy the facts in order to push an agenda IMO. But Kudos to the police for being proactive in this case instead of the typical "the person was known by law enforcement" we get when nothing is done and tragedy strikes.

How many of these people are? it's so ridiculous, this is like teh 4 or 5 one I've read about in the past week that was arrested with a cache of weapons. This is why no gun control is stupid. THere should be limts on how much ammo you can stockpile, how many guns you can have, or some way to track it. You have to register your car, should have to register your gun, get a ballistic fingerprint on file.

Why would it matter if they belonged to the father? The kid obviously had access to any and all.

If they are locked up in a gun vault and the kid didn't have the combo then no he wouldn't have access. Also if they are the kids then it needs to be found out how he was able to illegally purchase them.

The gun vault was in the kid's room and the article states there were firearms throughout the house. I recall the Sandy Hook shooter used mom's weapons.

Do you believe the father had a use for 25 rifles and 10,000 rounds of ammo? Is that just normal behavior?

I got close to the same amount. Most of mine are inherited firearms. And whenever I catch ammo on sale I scoop it up. On an average range trip my wife and I typically shoot 500 plus rounds.
If the father has the same last name then in Olsen's room could be reference to the dad's room. If it was the kids room then how did he acquire them is an important question to be answered

Either way the syatem worked like it was supposed to and that is a very good thing.

I completely support harassing this nutcase. Leave the law abiding citizens alone.

Nope, none of that was needed to arrest some idiot for making threats online. Reading is for the mental... I meant fundamental.

4 or 5 out of 327,000,000. Not too many.

I love when people make these threads and make arguments that literally no one ever makes that supports the 2nd Amendment.

Yes....

But think about his Second Amendment "rights"!

Owning guns and ammunition isn't a crime. Making threats of violence is. One is a right and one is illegal.

No, there shouldn't.

Do you support registering other rights as well? Why not register your DP account with a tag that shows your real name so that we can see who you are?
