War ended before my draft number got called. I didn't have a rich daddy to buy a medical deferment for me. So if my number was called I was going to go. I actually tried to join the Air Force and Navy as an aviator but got declined because my vision wasn't 20/20.

You have been here all of about 5 minutes, so I will go easy on you. I am not a fan of the Clintons, and never have been a fan of the Clintons. Just because someone is anti-Trump does not mean that they are pro-Clinton. It just means we have standards, and we stick by them.

Nope. To me the Air Force and Navy were the top programs. One recruiter offered me helicopter pilot. Which I never liked (not fast enough) Not to mention the concept is wholly different from flying a plane. I also had a close cousin who served in the 101st who was in helicopters that were shot down on 3 occasions who told me that's something I probably don't really want to do.

First of all I don't believe you and second the vast majority on the left did not care about Clinton dodging the draft and the only reason they care about Trump doing it is because of partisan politics.

I think both of them are lowlifes and would never vote for either.

You need to do a bit more research. Read your whole link it explains it to you. He did everything possible to avoid the draft other then go to Canada. The same as Trump. They are both low lifes.

I know all about those troops. I served with some of them. Political officers like Gabbards don't amount to the **** on the heel of their boots. Take your righteous indignation somewhere else.

As Trump demonstrates, Americans don't particularly care about qualifications in their presidents.

Bottom line, unless Gabbard or Buttigieg wins the Democratic nomination and the general election, we're going to have another president without military service or experience.

Buttigieg had a great line in the most recent debate about wanting to, as a war veteran, debate Trump, a draft dodger. I think that would appeal to a lot of people.
